BOPE MPC SAFARI HOSTEL — Hotel in Tagbilaran

We paid for two nights. The room itself looks pretty good, the bed was comfortable, however, the bathroom showed a lack of cleanliness and care. At 2:30 am, I started hearing a noise. With my cellphone flashlight, I noticed there was a cockroach on the table, which disgusted me and woke up my partner. To our surprise, it was actually a mouse. My partner tried to corner it, but it was impossible. There was no one at the reception, so they went to talk to the security guard. We lost sight of the mouse, and the guard had the key to the room next door. When I took my things from the furniture, the mouse was there. The second room we took had even worse bathroom characteristics. The trash container was filled with water, and the rest of the bathroom was dirty. The windows do not isolate much exterior noise, despite being on the fourth floor of the building.

I had stayed there for 2 nights. The rooms are clean and new. Came with a large king size bed with a nice shower place. Quiet as it is away from may street traffic and can get a good rest.||The lobby and rooms are located on level 3 of the buildings. A simple place for you to get a good r st for a short stay.||I would usually walk to town about 3 blocks away / 15 min walk. A bit dark if you are walking back in the evening as the street lights are not well covered. Take a tricycle if you need to - cost 30 peso each way.||There are no food cafe nearby - closes will be the town area. They have fast food MacDonald and pizza hut there. I was surprised with this small hostel. The bed and pillow quality are excellent. The sheets smile so nice. Even the towels smell nice. The facilities are good, such as heater for shower. The only thing I noted was that next door there is a church that performs masses in the evening using loudspeaker on the street. I hope the hotel can ask this church not to use loudspeakers for its religious services. I would want to stay...
