Hive capsule hostel — Hotel in Tagbilaran

Cool little place of about 10 capsules with a 15min walk to the port. With the small amount of capsules available this place isn’t busy at all. The rooms and beds are spacious and clean and very cozy. They have the air con on all the time and there is a little fan that pulls cool air into your pod when the door is shut over night. You’re provided with a little bathroom kit that has soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush and a towel. The bathrooms are nice and clean too but the pressure for the showers themselves are questionable. The TVs inside the pods are great too. They have Netflix logged in for you so you can chill and catch up on a series. They have a cafe open below that I assume is for the guests of the hotel. We ordered food late one night and they let us stay down there to eat as there’s no place to eat food upstairs. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was a pleasure to stay here. Hive is a really nice place. It's about 15 mins walk from the port so you are sure not to miss your ferry and very convenient if you are arriving late at night. There are only about 10 capsules so it's neither very crowded nor busy. The staff is very kind and sweet especially Jean who is always smiling and helpful and makes you feel welcome. The capsules are of decent size, clean and come with ample lights and charging. It can get a bit warm in there since there isn't individual air conditioning but a common one. My heat tolerance is low but I was quite comfortable there. They took special care to make the place smell nice which is much appreciated. The whole thing is very well organised. My only gripe was not having a separate sink for brushing and the lack of a full length mirror in the common areas. Nous sommes restées 4 nuits dans le hive capsule hostel. Il se compose d’une entrée / salle qui comprend directement les 9 capsules et l’accueil, et un espace salle de bain / casier. Il y a 4 toilettes / douches. L’hostel est bien entretenu et fréquemment nettoyé. Les capsules ne comprennent que le lit, il y a une télé (nous n’avons pas utilisé), et une petite étagère. La literie se compose de 2 oreillers et un simple drap. Une serviette et un petit kit de toilette est donné. Il y a de l’eau chaude et un jet d’eau de douche avec bon débit. Il faut laisser un deposit de 500 pesos à votre arrivée par capsule. Les hôtes sont très réactives, s’il y a besoin vous pouvez sonner la sonnette et elle débarque rapidement. Bonne emplacement

Les petits bémols : la climatisation est parfois excessivement froide et le simple drap ne réchauffe pas assez, et si vous coupez le système d’aération de la capsule vous étouffez très rapidement. les casiers sont très petits (surtout si vous êtes 2) et le notre était cassé il n’y a pas vraiment d’intimité (oui c’est un hostel je sais) mais la porte de la salle de bain est transparente, ce n’était pas nécessaire surtout qu’elle donne sur l’entrée certains systèmes d’eau chaude dans certaines douches ne fonctionnait pas parfois bruyant en fonction des clients et du check in / check...
