Mango Suites — Hotel in Tuguegarao

I guess this was one of the well knowned hotel here in tuguegarao city, as its near the SM Tuguegarao and Robinsons..I just try for overnight stay here, Receptionist was nice and accomodating, well informed, and will assist you for your query. Friendly and oriented. Even the housekeeping department.Room was nice, big and clean. Bed sheet was neat, comfortable. AC was good filter was clean and cold. The CR has bidet, hot and cold shower ready. Cabinet with plenty of hanger. The only problem was the location of your room either your in direct rays of the sunlight in morning or afternoon. In addition was the parking space, since the building was commercial and have tenant also occupying the building. Also drivers tend to park unreasonably in the area.You can ask for a pitcher o glass of drinking water and hot water. Just dial or ask in housekeeping. They have 2 bottled water ready in the room when checked in.Room have different rate but and sizes. Wifi connection sometimes failed may be if your room are very far from the router can reach. But in the evening it was fast. They serve complimentary breakfast in the canteen. If ask to deliver there will be service charge. Menu also place in the room and massage services if you like. For food at the restaurant you can add it or seperate OR included.For security, they have cctv ready and phone in the room for other query. Security is within the area in standby but i dont know if they function late at night.Overall stay...

Plus points: They offer shuttle service/ airport transfer via a big van so it's convenient for travelers like us who have big luggage or who are in a business trip. Staff is generally polite and they are very helpful. Food is also recommended, especially the Tablea drink. WIFI is strong, I was able to upload videos in Facebook and IG. Room is clean including the bathroom and the tiled floors. Check out the nearby Mang Domeng's for cheap (USD 1 / PHP 50) meals. I do like the layout of the eating area and the lobby. It's very professional and comfy at the same time. Accessible via tricycle are the malls and schools.

Areas for improvement: Had some sort of miscommunication probably when we arrived earlier than check in but they brought us to the room right away. Yet the room was still not clean and we thought that the previous guests were still checked in. But the staff was quick on their feet to apologize and transfer us to another clean room. Not sure how small standard rooms are but deluxe is smaller than the usual deluxe rooms. But hey, price is cheaper but worth it. So if you're not much into big spaces (like me) that's fine. Frequent issues with electricity so most likely they do not have generators.

But over all the price is worth it, very cheap yet the service...

Day 1: When we entered the room, it had a foul odor. Day 2: I experienced a loss of my gold jewelry, and the management did not address the issue appropriately until I reported it to the police. When I discovered that my jewelry was missing, I reported it immediately around 2 AM. The staff informed me that they would bring the issue to the manager's attention, but she would not arrive until 8 AM. I called twice to follow up in the morning, and when I went down to the front desk, I was informed that the manager was on leave. When I confronted them first they said the manager will come at 8 am then later on they said the usual office hours are 10am-6pm.It felt strange just hearing their inconsistent statement. Day 3: There was selective service and inconsistent statements. For example, room service claimed they did not deliver to the room, even though just the other day they had served coffee. Meanwhile, housekeeping verbally stated that they would change the bed sheets every three days.

Overall Staff Attitude: The staff did not acknowledge the client's complaints and instead tried to cover up the issues. Although they offered an apology, it felt too late to make a difference. By the time I checked out, my jewelry had not been returned, and the issue...
