Service is slow and needs improvement. Our server is a trainee, kudos to him though, as the regular staff like to congregate by empty tables. Most of the featured items on the menu are not available and it's only 11:30 am, an hour and a half after opening at 10 am. Food- Crispy Kare-Kare- 3.5 stars- (would've been higher were it not salty)- Deep fried pork hock in thickened peanut and curry gravy with green beans, eggplant (aubergine) and puso de saging (heart of the banana flower) with a side of sauteed shrimp paste. Crispy pata- 3.5 stars- (again salty) Deep fried pork hock with papaya salad. Crispy garlic Adobong Kang-kong- 4 stars Water cress in chicken adobo with lots of crispy garlic. It's a rarity that I give out 4 stars for any kind of adobo. This flavor is so reminiscent of my childhood love of my grandma's cooking. Located inside the KCC Mall, restrooms located outside in the mall area, which is inconvenient and for a restaurant this size, they should...
Read more2 stars because they still deserve some credit for the friendly waiters and location. To be fair, I like the food in their main branch. We just had dinner here in KCC branch and it's appaling that quality is not at par with the main. We ordered seafood ihaw-ihaw, bulalo and sotanghon. The noodles tasted good, but the bulalo is way too salty for a soup and most of the dishes in the bilao is so dry. You can't almost eat the shrimp as it is stuck with the skin. Chicken skewers are also too dry and not freshly grilled. I talked to the lady OJT SUPERVISOR (didn't get her name) about the shrimp and that the bilao is a bit disappointing, she just reasoned out that maybe the chef overcooked it. Then didn't say any apology or even just to say that next time she'll remind the chef. Won't visit this place again. I know there are other dishes that taste good, but with a sulky service and inconsistent...
Read moreAll the food was delicious but i would recommend you try their squid sizzling the sauce was fantastic it compliment with the juicyness of the squid, also the pakbet vegetables was not overcooked, i would saythhw it was perfectly cooked. It's also good thing that they accept debit and credit card, so if even you don't have cash with you, i wouldn't be a problem but make sure you always have your debit or credit card. I would suggest that they should think a ways on how to improve their serving timing, but their staff is very...
