A Truly Memorable Stay at Hotel Lenart – Wieliczka’s Hidden Gem
🏨 Out of all the hotels I researched in the area, Hotel Lenart stood out immediately—and it did not disappoint. It offered the best location and the most competitive pricing of any option we considered, and after staying there, I can confidently say it exceeded all expectations. Travelers this place will welcome you with open arms 🧳
😊 From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by the incredible owner, Elizabeth. She is the heart and soul of the hotel—bubbly, joyful, and an absolute pleasure to be around. Any small issues were handled immediately and with genuine care, showing just how much she values every guest’s experience. Elizabeth is truly a wonderful owner and a major reason why our stay was so memorable.
📍 The location is ideal—just minutes from the world-famous Wieliczka Salt Mine and a short drive to the beautiful city of Kraków. We were able to explore both destinations with ease, making it the perfect hub for travelers looking to enjoy history, culture, and relaxation.
Our two rooms were spotless, modern, and extremely comfortable—you could tell great attention was paid to cleanliness and guest comfort. As for the food, it was nothing short of fantastic. The meals were plentiful and absolutely delicious—you could taste the pride and care in every bite. We were never left hungry and actually found ourselves looking forward to each meal.
⭐️ Try the duck pierogi 🤤
🥘 Breakfast was a standout—an incredible variety with something for everyone, from traditional Polish dishes to lighter, international options. I’ve attached photos of the breakfast spread to give you a glimpse of the wide selection they offer. So many fresh, high-quality options—it felt more like a feast than a hotel breakfast!
One unique highlight is that every Saturday night, the hotel brings in a local DJ who plays music all night for free, creating a fun, energetic atmosphere for guests to let loose and enjoy themselves.
🚗 Add in free parking, excellent amenities, and the charm of a well-run, guest-focused hotel, and you have a stay that feels far more luxurious than the price would suggest.
If you’re visiting Wieliczka or Kraków, do yourself a favor—book Hotel Lenart. You won’t regret it.

Read moreLocated outside Krakow center, 15min walk from Wielicka salt mines. Family suite room was quite big and cosy. Good breakfast selection. Fair 3 + stars hotel. Next to hotel there is an nice food supermarket, as well train station (city center - Wielicka salt mines branch) - modern train will deliver you to Krakow center in 20 minutes, as well ticket is something 5-6PZL per person (1-1,5€). We selected this hotel due to location outside the city center since we planned couple of days in Zakopane, Energylandia and Auschwitz - Wielicka located on Krakow roundabout - some time saved not driving to city...
Read moreDark, sad, abandoned hotel located on a supermarket parking lot, in between the road and railway. 15 minutes walk to salt mine and Wieliczka center, not nice in dark November days (along road, railway and parking lots). Don't order HB - although there is pretty good choice of food for breakfast, the dinner is not eatable. The rooms are pretty spacious, with comfy beds, but the bathrooms with cheap quotes on walls and floor definitely ask for renovation. Generally, if you have not other place to stay to visit Wieliczka, it's a good option for one night. Nothing...
