Definitely not a four star hotel!
My boyfriend and I travelled to Warsaw last week and stayed from Monday through Sunday.
To start, we where not told anything upon arrival in regard to where the amenities were, breakfast was served etc., we were only given our room key and that was it. We booked a six night stay with spa and wellness included and they conveniently failed to mention that the entire wellness area is currently being renovated and we could only use the sauna if we ask two hours in advance for them to turn it on. This was very disappointing and they only mentioned this when we inquired about where the spa was, very unprofessional and strange that they failed to mention this when we arrived, normally something would be offered in return or at least a simple apology. This is also not mentioned on the hotels website!
The hotel itself is very nice and modern and was very clean and had a good atmosphere and comfortable rooms. The location is perfect for early or late flights getting in because of its vicinity to the airport. It is however about a 15 min tram ride away from the city centered so keep this in mind. There are a few resturants near by and two supermarkets and like two McDonald’s so finding food isn’t an issue.
The service general left a lot to be desired. They were not accommodating at all for the fact that it’s supposed to be a four Start Hotel. I gave two stars for service because the breakfast was very delicious and fresh and the waiter was very nice and offered us fresh eggs everyday and brought us delicious pancakes. The cost of breakfast was also very reasonable. The other personelle, I.e. the people at the front desk however, were mostly nice but didn’t ever ask if we needed anything and didn’t seem to be bothered with how well our stay at the hotel was. Maybe we are used to different standards but my boyfriend and I really aren’t picky people. We did however, expect a certain level of courtesy and information and this shouldn’t be too much to ask. I have traveled a lot in my life and have never been told so little upon arrival we had to ask everything ourselves and there were no signs in the hotel indicating where things are located or brochures, maps etc. We basically had to search through the hotel ourselves to find everything. They didn’t even tell us what time breakfast or dinner was served.
On the last night Saturday we needed to sleep early and be up at 4 am to catch our flight at 7 and were disturbed the whole night by the night club in the ground floor of the hotel. The music from the club was blasting from 8 pm to 4 am. It only stopped when we woke up. The bass was so loud and the music was as loud as if we were standing in the club ourselves. I enjoy partying as much as the next person but this should be mentioned beforehand when there are other guests staying at the hotel who maybe don’t want to be disturbed or sleep!
All in all it was very disappointing stay and many improvements need to be made if they want to call it a four star hotel. To start with they should communicate important information to all guests when they arrive and at least apologize for the inconvenience of entire amenities not being able to be used! Another easy thing to fix would be to turn the bass down or use less speakers in general or better sound proofing so the entire hotel doesn’t have to listen to club music...

It was very cold in the romm during the night. The hotel staff knew about this, but they did not warn me during the check-in formalities. If I had known this, I would not have stayed. This is the main reason why I am making this negative comment, that I was not informed from the beginning about the heating system not working. I can understand that it is a technical problem, but the customers need to be informed and decide whether or not to stay overnight.
I had to leave the hotel next morning after a terrible night spent in the hotel, to find another hotel with heating (I had booked for 5 nights initially)
At the reception in the evening I was promised an electric heater, but in the end I didn't receive anything and they told me I could leave if I didn't like it. I caught a serious bad cold during the night, so I had to wear a hoodie and take medicine.
On the other hand, I can note the very good and varied breakfast and the professionalism of the restaurant workers.
I'm sorry to have to make this negative comment, but...
Read moreWe arrived late and had unfortunatelylost our luggage at the airport so we had nothing like soap nor schampoo. We thought there would be some in the room. But there was nothing. Most hotel have amenities but here was nothing. ||They had no toothbrushes either for us, only two were given out. This is a four star hotel....After we asked again they finally found some more toothbrushes. So at least we had our teeth brushed! We had a nice dinner, it was all good. I ordered dumplings but received....Ravioli! The waitress told me that this was their dumplings. End of story! Later on in the nigt they had discomusic tuned uo at 3 am in the mornig. This went on for about an hour. We lived on fourth floor and we heard everything even if it was in the basement. In the morning....No one said Good Morning, the disco music was on at 5.45 am in the morning and at six o clock our taxis finally came to bring us away. I dont understand...why is it so hard to deal with us guests, just give us a smile and make us feel welcome, especially since we lost our luggage. The portier was nice but rest of the staff....were not...
