Luna Hotel Turismo — Hotel in Abrantes

The pictures do not do this hotel justice. Fabulous staff with very nice rooms/beds al very tastefully decorated. The hotel sits on top of a hill with fabulous views of the surrounding area. Great swimming pool, tennis courts next door and a telepizza dine in or take away next to the hotel which was amazing pizza one night (negative was only Portuguese bank cards or cash, no foreign cards. Used cash). Breakfast was included and we had this every morning (delicious) continental style with hot eggs/mushrooms/local bacon & sausage, omelette and tomato. A pastry section and a cold section with cheese/ham etc plus normal juices/coffee etc plus a few items they will cook for you on request (I had fried eggs). We (family of 3) booked it last minute when visiting family in the local areas, we couldn’t of been happier, great room/hotel with amenities and 5 minutes of the motorway but super quite and relaxing area. We also had dinner one night in the restaurant, excellent food and at a very reasonable prices. We stayed in this hotel after the lockdown in Portugal due to covid. I didn´t have great expectations, as I´ve passed by this place many times and it didn´t appeal me, but how wrong I was.||Extremely nice staff, everything looked and was clean and the comfort in the rooms was great: pleasant decoration, nice bed and a small balcony with a great view.||We stayed at Luna Abrantes for 3 or 4 nights and it was almost empty, so basicly we had the pool just for us. Once again, the pool staff were very attentive and polite. They served basic snacks, one of the days I had lunch in the pool bar and enjoyed it. ||Due to COVID, we had to book our breakfast time, too avoid the crowds in the room, but it was always quiet: food was good, with good variety. We had access to disinfectant dispensers all the time and the room had a "covid kit" with mask, gloves and wpes.||To sum up, this little hotel was a very pleaseant surprise in the small town of Abrantes and I will return and advise...

We stayed July 2025 family of 3. I would highly recommend this hotel on every level, we stayed for 6 days. Family room with king bed and a single bed, room was great size, great air con system with fabulous bathroom. Breakfast was a continental style with hot/cold and pastry items and cereals etc great and filling breakfast. We also had dinner one evening which was very good, we were visiting family so most evening we would eat with them etc. Good size pool with child shallow pool as well, tennis courts next to the hotel and also a telepizza dine in or take away next to the hotel, does take non Portugal cards though so have some cash ready.
