If you are scheduling with the Lisbon Surf Camp, make sure you understand the hostel is not on the beach. Don't book it on their website as their system does not communicate with their website (lol).
Surf Injection Package: DON'T buy this If you bought the Surf Injection package, ask for your money back and just schedule the housing and individual group surf sessions. They mention a photo session, all day surf material, which do not exist. Also the video session I had to literally request it to multiple people and the manager until I actually got it.
Surf Lessons: Do the group sessions even if you are a beginner (they are worth it outside the surf injection package). If you have experience with surfing don't bother coming to this camp (at most stay at the hostel and rent the equipment and go by yourself to the beach to surf).
Hostel: Staff is super friendly. Breakfast is great. Beds are good. Clean environment. No complaints there.
Location: about 15 min walk to the beach. Great location though. Supermarket nearby within 7 min walk.
Organization: super disorganized. Make sure you communicate everything you bought and schedule in advance whatever needs to be scheduled, and the day before tripple check with the staff. Though the staff is amazing, management doesn't help organize the place vs. services. Most things related to the surfing services, packages, rides to the airport need management involvement. If you need management for anything, make sure to talk to Rodrigo as he will not make you feel like he is too important to talk to you.
I would go back for the hostel. Not for...
Read moreUnforgettable experience at Lisbon Surf Hostel 🌊🏄♂️ I recently went on a solo travel adventure to Lisbon Surf Hostel and it turned out to be an absolute game-changer. From the moment I arrived, I was embraced by the warmest and most welcoming community of fellow travelers. The atmosphere was full of positive vibes.
The hostel itself was comfortable and convenient. Clean and cozy accommodations with well-equipped facilities. There is a big livingroom where you can relax, a nice kitchen, great breakfast and if you are not in the sea you can relax at the pool. But what truly set this place apart were the people – both staff, volunteers and fellow guests. The friendships I made during my stay are ones I know will last a lifetime. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure every guest felt special and valued.
This trip to Lisbon Surf Hostel has easily become one of the most memorable holidays of my life. If you're seeking an adventure that combines great waves, wonderful company, and an unbeatable atmosphere, look no further.

Management is amazing, the staff is kind and attentive. Their volunteers are super cool. The hostel is clean, the work areas are great. They have yoga, a pool, and a skate ramp! There’s only 1 tv which also adds to the homey vibe. They offer surf classes and rentals. It is a quick 7 min walk to the beach with restaurants close by. They also have a grocery store also within walking distance and the kitchen is great for making meals if you’re into that sort of thing.
If you’re looking to relax, make new friends or simply experience a wonderful place look no further.
Already planning on my next trip...
