Outsite Vilamoura — Hotel in Loulé

My first one star review, didn't imagine I'd be writing one of these today. I arrived a bit early to outsite vilamoura, which is a bit outside of the city. The location is not ideal unless you have a car, which is recommended - some of the closest nearby restaurants are 30 minutes walking distance.

I arrived a bit early to the facility, exhausted from my transit, with a number of messes throughout. Sidewalks hadn't been swept in weeks, furniture was floating in the pool (which seems to have never been operational), recent construction led to messes in the bathrooms. There were no employees to be found upon arrival, and all doors were locked so I was stuck sitting outside for hours. I never met an employee of the facility for the rest of the day. In fact, the place is like a ghost town, I didn't see a single other person in the facility until the evening.

I was denied when I asked to cancel the rest of my stay with a refund, denied when I asked for a switch of location to a new facility (this company has a number of other locations with open rooms), and denied even for a credit to stay at their hotels in future. This feels like an incredibly poor way to build brand loyalty, I loved the concept and really tried to find a compromise in the situation, I was hoping to stay at a number of outsite locations in the future but I will not be after...

Appartamenti molto belli e accoglienti, dotati di più o meno tutto l'occorrente per cucinare e vivere in generale. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo avuto una piccola disavventura dovuta ad un disguido, cose che possono succedere, notevole l'impegno per rimediare la situazione. Unico consiglio, manca il cavatappi per i tappi a corona. Molto apprezzabile la zona esterna, curata e sia il giardino che la piscina che la zona bbq dotata di tutto quello che serve. La zona è a circa 3 km dal centro del paese ma la tranquillità che si respira ne fa...
