Food was lovely, highly recommend the chefs, but service was very poor! We had to wait about 30 mins for anyone to take our first drinks order and then after our mains, we waited to be offered a dessert menu but after 30-40 mins, no one offered us a dessert menu or after dinner drinks, which we eventually had to go up to one of the waiters and ask ourselves/ the waiter then forgot our order and had to ask us again, so we were waiting an extra 30 mins for our after dinner drinks. To top it off, we had to ask for the bill from 3 different waiters as each one forgot, so it took us 45 mins to get our bill, by which time we were very ready to walk out after a very long evening. Not a good experience! Gone down hill from the previous years I have visited which is a shame as it used to be...

Some truly spectacular seafood served fresh and well cooked. We went just as the restaurant was opening back up after the lockdown, so we were the only group there. Masks were still required walking into the restaurant, but of course you can remove it to eat and talk, especially if you are seated outside. Ordering was pretty easy since my friend had been here before, but I wasn't really shown a menu until we were seated, and more or less had to discuss what kinds of fish they had and what ways they would cook them etc. We ended up ordering sole meuniere, grilled seabass and garlic butter clams, all of which were worth their while (although the clams were surprisingly pricy). Surprisingly underwhelming. Made a booking and arrival asked about the garden and told abruptly no only inside. We were there for 1 hour and gardeb was still empty. The waiter was abrupt, almost rude, but you can get them occasionally. The food wasn't great. I had the Cod fish, but it was on the bone as advised. However, it was tasteless and had uncooked garlic sprinkled over it. My partner has the curry prawns, 8 prawns in a curry sauce, and a large spoon of rice - with a single cucumber with a half cherry tomato on it. Poor presentation.
