TOP FOOD TOP SERVICE.
I was able to book online without any problem. We turned up slightly early but were welcomed and shown to our reserved table. The staff immediately presented us with menus and asked if we wanted water. He returned with our sparkling water and poured some out for us. He then took our order for food. We both ordered filet steak and pepper sauce and a bottle of wine. The wine arrived quickly and the waiter asked us to try the wine, he then poured some out for us and put it in the ice bucket on a separate table next to us. He kept coming and topping up our glasses and the food arrived promptly, in view of the time a well done steak takes to cook. The steak was beautiful and well presented. The rest of the food was also good. I forgot to add we had a starter of soup which arrived promptly. The staff were very attentive and the food was very good. Read moreI told them my children had severe nut allergies on arrival and then we were served bread that contained walnuts.Thank god I tried the bread first. When I told the waitress she apologised but seriousness of situation didn't seem to hit home. I then told woman who appeared to be in charge and again she wasn't that bothered and she told me it was meant to be seeded bread. I told her it wasn't and she shrugged and said they had ordered seeded. In the bill I was charged for the bread which I disputed. This restaurant needs to be aware of dangers of food allergy...
Read moreI ate here with my family on a Monday evening so I think it was a bit quieter than usual. The restaurant is pretty and set next to the golf course. It was nice to have the view while we ate. The waitresses were both so friendly and kind with our baby and toddler, which was appreciated. We also asked for some items that weren't on the menu for the kids and they accommodated us straight away.
