Ho soggiornato due notti presso l'hotel Ibis Styles Lisbona Aeroporto (dal 10/01/2025 al 12/01/2025). Alcuni giorni prima, tramite mail, avevo chiesto di poter fruire del servizio navetta aeroportuale dall'aeroporto all'albergo, indicando quale orario di arrivo le ore 21.00 circa. Nonostante due ripetute richieste, non ricevevo risposta. Pertanto, ho dovuto utilizzare le linee di trasporto pubblico nelle vicinanze dell'aeroporto. Giunto presso l'albergo in tarda serata, comunicavo all'addetta alla reception di aver già effettuato il check in on line; la risposta appariva improntata ad una cortesia fredda ed essenziale. La camera, situata al primo piano, era molto piccola, ma moderna, pulita e confortevole, con un vassoio di cortesia sufficientemente fornito (macchina per il caffé espresso, latte) ma privo di un bollitore. La camera aveva in dotazione un televisore con schermo molto grande, cassaforte, asciugacapelli. L'albergo è di recente costruzione, moderno, situato a pochi metri dalle piste aeroportuali, ma ben insonorizzato. Il bagno, particolarmente piccolo, era però dotato di una doccia sufficientemente ampia. Praticamente inesistente il kit di cortesia fornito solo di cotton fioc e cuffia capelli. Presenti, però, accappatoio e pantofole. Il piccolissimo lavandino e la doccia erano dotati ciascuno di due dispenser per sapone/shampoo. Nessuna saponetta in dotazione che, in fondo, non è sembrata indispensabile. Il riscaldamento funzionava correttamente, ma si percepiva una lieve umidità tra il materasso e le lenzuola. La porta della doccia era difettosa, in quanto la chiusura non appariva ermetica e l'acqua fuoriusciva sul pavimento del bagno. Il letto era dotato di un materasso molto comodo. Nella tariffa era inclusa la prima colazione, la quale non appariva però all'altezza di un quattro stelle, come viene indicato questo Ibis Styles. In particolare, all'interno degli appositi recipienti, il bacon era freddo, le uova sul fondo del tegame erano scure ed attaccate e il pane non sembrava fresco di giornata. Anche i mini wurstel non sembravano cotti. Peraltro, il personale addetto alla reception, avvisato del problema, si scusava garantendomi che avrebbe comunicato il problema. Durante la mattinata, al momento di uscire dall'albergo, mi accorgevo che la chiave di ingresso della mia stanza era malfunzionante, motivo per cui alla reception veniva aggiornata tramite il sistema informatico. Al mio ritorno pomeridiano, però, scoprivo che alcuni indumenti di biancheria intima che avevo lasciato nella cabina armadio e che avrei dovuto indossare il giorno dopo, erano spariti. Chiedevo spiegazioni agli addetti presenti alla reception i quali, dopo aver richiesto informazioni ai colleghi addetti alle pulizie, mi comunicavano che nessuno aveva gettato nulla nella spazzatura, né aveva visto biancheria all'interno della cabina armadio. Esprimendo profondo sconcerto, rappresentavo che, evidentemente, qualcuno che non era un membro del personale era entrato nella mia stanza durante la mia assenza. Conseguentemente, l'addetto alla reception mi accompagnava al piano e tramite notebook verificava le registrazioni degli accessi nella mia stanza. Tra i vari accessi (il mio e quello del personale addetto alle pulizie), rilevavo due accessi n/a (not available) corrispondenti ad accessi non riconducibili a soggetti identificabili. Rappresentavo tale situazione all'addetto alla reception il quale, però, mi assicurava che in realtà tali accessi n/a erano riconducibili ad altri accessi autorizzati. A mio avviso, però, tale spiegazione non è stata assolutamente convincente. Ho ritenuto opportuno evidenziare all'addetto alla reception che la gravità della situazione non era riconducibile allo scarso valore dei capi d'abbigliamento trafugati, quanto al fatto che qualcuno fosse entrato nella mia stanza senza autorizzazione e senza che fosse stato possibile stabilirne l'identità. Pur ricevendo le dovute scuse, la mia sensazione di profondo sconcerto è rimasta inalterata. Il giorno dopo - prima del check out - l'addetto alla reception sostituiva la mia chiave, ormai non più funzionante. Peraltro, nella prima mattinata, la navetta dell'albergo, prenotata la sera prima, mi accompagnava all'aeroporto. L'albergo è moderno, logisticamente ben collocato vicino all'aeroporto e alle fermate dei bus che conducono all'aeroporto. La camera insonorizzata, molto piccola, era di ampiezza comunque sufficiente, ma la gravità di quanto accaduto mi ha convinto, per l'avvenire, a non utilizzare più...

Stayed only one night before airport departure. New hotel in the airport area. Reception/check in was quick and pleasant - basic info given. No luggage carts - desk attendant will help carry bags to room if asked. Room was tiny with bed about 24 inches from wall on both sides. Enough room to swing legs over and sidestep away. Good mattress and linens - slept well. Minimalist bathroom - great shower. Room on 1st floor which overlooked the open dining space - common area. Little bit noisy, if guests loudly talking. Shuttle service to airport only - on time departure from hotel, during morning traffic took about 15-20 minutes to airport. Driver delivered us to arrival floor - not departure level. Not sure if it is the hotel designated drop off point, but very inconvenient if one has luggage they have to haul up the escalator. Lastly, the restaurant bombed. By 7 pm, they were out of several menu items. Wait staff indifferent and lacked customer service skills (ours needed his apron washed)...ordered my meat well-done and it was delivered under-cooked - sent back, but the replacement was given to someone. In amends, I was brought another meal (different than my original order) again the meat was too rare and at that point about an hour later, I no longer was hungry. On a positive note, on request, our wine was was removed from the bill. I understood that the restaurant is contracted and you cannot charge the bill...

1 star to bring attention to the fact that the shuttle driver was 15 min late (earliest and first pick up of the morning, this is NOT a airport hotel despite its name) just enough to cause my mother to miss her flight from Lisbon to Zurich. I scheduled the shuttle pick up the previous afternoon after receiving assurance from the front desk that a 4 am pick for a 5:55 departure from Lisbon to Zurich would be adequate time to catch the flight (the airport is 2.4km away or 4 min drive ). Advertised to provide an “exceptional experience”, I relied on the recommendations of the front desk to schedule the shuttle pick up time, and I trusted the shuttle driver to arrive on time. When he didn’t, I became highly agitated as was the other guest waiting for the shuttle. I selected this hotel solely for its proximity to the airport and for their shuttle service, specifically to avoid disasters like a missed flight. They did not meet expectations and it cost us significantly. While the facilities were new, modern and functioning properly, and I would have rated the hotel five stars, minus 4 because the price to reissue a new boarding ticket was over 4x the price it cost for a night’s accommodation at the Ibis. Thanks to TAP Air’s timing “adventures,” our Prague–Lisbon flight arrived late, and we missed the connection to Faro. Silver lining? We got an unexpected overnight stay here. And honestly, after 3.5 hours of flying and a whole day of travel chaos, all we wanted was a bed and this hotel delivered. The interior is modern, the room and bathroom spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Yes, the room was on the small side, but perfectly fine for what we needed: a solid night’s sleep before round two of travel. Breakfast the next morning was a pleasant surprise, lots of options, and none of the “just toast and coffee” sadness you sometimes find with free hotel meals. The airport shuttle was the cherry on top, sparing us the hassle of figuring out non responding bolt or ubers. In short: not a hotel we planned on staying at, but one we were grateful for. Sometimes travel detours end with a good nap, a decent buffet, and a good story.

Rooms are compact but well designed with all you need. Coffee pod machine, water, tea etc. Safe and mini fridge/bar in room. Breakfast is particularly good and we also had an evening meal in the restaurant which was excellent value and quality. Small.outdoor gym area, rowing machine, elliptical, bench and some dumbbells.

The toilet paper is very low near the wall. Anyone with balance issues or short would find it difficult to reach. The sink is attractive but there is no counter space for toothbrush, toothpaste, cosmetics or to sit a hairdryer (which would be plugged in next to water). Again great for short stay. Staff were friendly and attentive. Hotel was very clean in the common areas and rooms.
