O Telheiro do Prior — Restaurant in Loures

Football game just starting as we arrived. We'd walked the neighbourhood looking for an open restaurant serving a cooked meal outside the usual hours. En route back to Canada after 7 weeks in Portugal and really wanting a meal with protein and Portuguese flavour. Joined the local gang as they chatted and enjoyed a beer or shared a bottle of wine. This place was the best meal we had while we were here in Lisbon. The chef was awesome. He took care of my mom with her seafood allergy and the food was amazing. The dessert was delicious, the atmosphere was fun and we had a wonderful toast of port at the end with the chef, who took such great care of us. Can’t recommend this...
