Hotel Santa Comba — Hotel in Moura

The hotel is small but well located. The entrance is on the ground floor but everything else is up a long, fairly steep flight stairs. There is a handicapped chair lift available and I was quickly offered help with my luggage. The halls and breakfast room are beautiful and have tile and plaster details. Our room was simple but adequate. The bed was a double and we have not been in a bed that small in a long time. WiFi was excellent and lighting and charging were fine. The bathroom was quite large and spacious with a shower. ||||The problem was that it was quite cold especially the first night. We used both the heat and the extra blanket but were still cold. The second night was better. We had turned off the heat to conserve electricity but it had been turned back on when the room was cleaned and it did make a difference. ||||Breakfast was excellent and the breakfast room was very attractive. The people were very friendly and helpful. Parking was a bit tricky but a few times around and we always found a spot. Price was amazing. Were we to come back to Moura, we would be happy...

My wife and I first visited the Hotel Santa Comba in Moura approximately 5 years ago. We were highly impressed then and if anything our opinion this time around is even better. This is an old school type of inn located right on the main square of a typical Portugese small city which seems to be doing its best to avoid becoming an urban jungle. There are lots of affordable restaurants and bars close by and tourists appear to rare... which to us makes for a more genuine experience. As for the Hotel Santa Comba, the owner is a true "patron" and treats guests as friends as well as customers. The place is immaculately clean and their morning continental breakfast is a great way to start the day. Moura itself is a gem of a city and there is lots to see that makes it a true Portugese experience. We would returrn there in a heartbeat and would highly recommend a stay at the Hotel...

For me and my family it was one of the best places we ever been.||the beautiful deco it is amazing the hygiene is 10 out of 10 the people are so polite and kind.||myself I come from Moura and it was my first time in Hotel Santa Comba I would recommend this Hotel to any person.||Great value for money and prefect location free wifi.||Moura it is very small town with very kind people and fantastic food and wine.||Enjoy it specially your stay in Hotel...
