We were visiting family in nearby Lamego and this was the cheapest Hotel available and, having stayed in Regua before, we knew it was a beautiful area to stay. The Hotel room was compact and could benefit from a repainting but was clean and soon warmed up using the air conditioner as it was very cold in the region at this time. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were a bit small and I had to use two. The staff were friendly and welcoming although a bell on reception would be helpful as it was deserted when we arrived to check in and also when we left to check out and had to find assistance.||The breakfast was very basic which is to be expected in a budget Hotel but I can't comment on the pool as it was far to cold to even contemplate a dip.||For me, the best thing about our stay was the ample parking which was never an issue and the shower in our bathroom which was lovely and hot and very powerful.||On the downside the walls in the room seem paper thin and you could clearly hear people talking, the shower running and the irritating sound of the air conditioner running next door. On our last night we were kept awake by the sounds of our neighbours vigorous love making which, although seemed very impressive, was not overly welcome when we had to get up at 5am to drive back to Porto for our flight home. Still, at least they drowned out the noise of the air conditioner for a while!||Overall I think the Hotel was pretty good, in a gorgeous part of Portugal just a stones throw from the glorious Douro river and value for money but I would advise earplugs for a peaceful...

Good for a short stay along the way. Pictures look better on the web than real life! It’s comfortable, rooms are nicely sized. However, if you’re looking for a more elevated stay this may fall short! We came in October - to be fair - during summer it might appear nicer with the garden/pool open and better kept. Stayed for a night for super reasonable price with breakfast, restful sleep but may be a bit dated for some!

Can hear your neighbours depending on how loud they are :) can recommend as a practical option for hotel stay (not b&b or hostel). Happy enough for a stop along the way! If planning on staying longer to enjoy the facilities, not sure if this would be the best place for you....

-No noise isolation, too much eco |-They advertise swwiming pool on the website, but the swwiming pool was not working when we arrived in the hitt of 30° |- breakfast is very poor |- have to improve the cleaning service, remove the durst from the furniture |- the MOST Important, improve the support to the client at the reception, specialy if the hotel MADE a mistake |GOOD: |- location|- free car park |- good structure building but not well managed _ have to improve a lot and I am just saying simple things, you don't need to do too much to make a difference even for a 2...

Nice hotel to stay. A little bit further of the city center but easy by walk along the douro and the sight is superb. Very calm inside. In the opposite of few others comments I found nothing to say about the cleanliness of my room and the bathroom. Everything was fresh everyday. Airco was well functioning. Staff very friendly and smiling and giving advices. Maybe the breakfast can be better towards more fresh fruits and more yoghurts, maybe eggs, but for the rest I liked it, (coffee was very good). The swimming pool was pleasant and with a view on the mountains and the douro ! ☺

The cheapest hotel in Regua, but if you know that, it’s great. For only 39€ it was clean and comfortable and had free breakfast with fruit, croissants, ham and cheese, juice, coffee. The rooms reminded me of Motel 6 I watched S. Korea beat Portugal in the lobby The neighborhood does not have much to offer, but it is easy to walk into town and have a nice dinner or walk to Lidl for groceries

I had a river view and my room was fairly large, clean and I slept well. The breakfast was good and I had an all in all good stay. The location is a bit in the middle of nowhere and when I asked in the reception what I should do in the afternoon I got the answer: There is nothing to do around her? I went for a walk and it was not that bad... ;)
