Indigo Star House — Hotel in Ribeira Brava

Our group has been very pleased with the villa: there is solar-panels heated pool, beautiful garden, plenty of places to sit around the house and enjoy magnificent views and especially sun sets. The villa is located approximately 20 minutes drive from the island capital Funchal and renting the car is a good idea as local buses are not geared for tourists. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, inside you will find everything you need including towels, soaps and shampoos as well as all the kitchen utensils needed on holiday( tasting local cuisine is highly recommended however). Nine of us stayed very comfortably in five rooms and easily managed to eat together at a large table or watch TV on sofas and armchairs provided. WiFi works perfectly fine within the whole villa. There is literally nothing we can complain about, very good communication with owners and house introduction by Salvador. We were very nicely welcomed with a small gift of local produce. There are plenty of places to visit: beauty spots, levada walks, beaches and the infrastructure(roads, shopping etc) is better than in some...

I had pleasure of staying at Indigo House for a mindfulness retreat. It is a magical place with beautiful view overlooking ocean and mountains. It was an amazing experience of rediscovering your inner-self, such an neccessary break from everyday hustles. About week long retreat included morning routines helping you with calming your body and focus on breathing ( there is a delicious b'fast afterwards- fresh mangoes and bananas-I love you

The most incredible property in the most incredible destination.

We stayed at this amazing property in October 2020 and while it was amazing then having returned this August the place has been made even better. The attention to detail of the furnishings and the decorations are amazing, the hosts Bruno and Dominik are friendly, helpful and all round great hosts.

The house is situated near Ribeira Brava which is our favourite part of the island. With easy access to the whole island it provides the best of both worlds, to relax in an amazing house with the most incredible views and to be able to travel around and expreience the whole island of Madeira with ease.

We would, and will, stay here again in a heart beat and would recommend this property to anyone...
