Aguda Beach Charming House — Hotel in Vila Nova de Gaia

The place is garbage, literally. Worst rental I’ve ever stayed at in my life. The closets had mold, rooms had paint that was peeling inside due to moisture and the paint fell onto our beds. The bathroom situation with the toilet and shower in the same room is a total joke. Felt like you were staying at a hostel. Not only that, the entire house is filthy. Cobwebs everywhere and a mildew stench throughout the house that the host tries to hide with diffusers pushing out all sorts of air fresheners.

The house is listed as sleeping 6 adults, but there’s no way 6 people can stay there with the room and bathroom situation. There is one sink, and the rooms are insanely small. The photos posted are very deceiving in showing the room size. Both rooms upstairs have about 20cm between the bed and any side of the walls, there is no closet in either room and there’s no where to store your luggage oe belongings.

After we made a complaint about the state of the place, the host accused us of damaging the house and asked for repairs. Total scumbag move. Avoid at all costs! Don’t believe me? Look...
