Park Hotel — Hotel in Vila Nova de Gaia

First of all, the only person I would like to thank at this hotel is the receptionist Joanna. We stayed at this hotel with my wife after coming with a tour between June 7, 2025 and May 9, 2025. After checking in to the hotel, we couldn't believe what we saw when we went to our room. The room was very small, the furniture was very old, the ceiling was very low. The worst part was that they gave me and my wife separate beds. When I went to the reception and talked to the staff, I explained that the reservation was made for a single bed. Despite all my requests and requests, they told me that there was no room in the hotel, but maybe they could consider it tomorrow morning. I was very disappointed and upset. When I went to the reception the next day, Joanna greeted me and changed my room without upsetting me in about ten seconds. It was obvious that no one had stayed in the room I had passed through the night before. That too revealed that the hotel had told me a very nice lie. It is an awful hotel. I definitely do not...

We needed a reasonably priced hotel prior to an early morning flight from the Porto Airport.|This small hotel, adjacant to the expressway, 15 minutes from the airport, was a very pleasant surprise. Our 4th floor room next to the elevator was very quiet. The desk staff told us they have special sound barrier windows.| While the very clean twin and double bed room did not have extra amenities such as a mini fridge or coffee maker it was the perfect place for a one night stay. A large amount of towels were provided for use in the small bathroom. | We selected a breakfast option and were provided with a large box of food including a sandwich, juice, pastry, cookies and an energy bar for our early flight. My wife and I arrived at this hotel on monday of last week, and we were pleasantly surprised by the look and interior of the lobby, the check in was swift and in a flash we were in our comfortable room, not massive but more than adequate for our needs, we found the shower to be excellent and the bed was very comfortable, great cleaning and towel changes upon request.Free safe too which is great!||All the guys and girls on reception were very helpful and full of great info.||The hotel is around a 20 minute (all downhill) walk from the Gaia side of the river and it was a pleasant walk through the narrow streets near the Port cellars, taxi back up to the hotel ranged from 5 euro to 9 euros depending on the time of day.||This really is a very nice hotel and we would not hesitate to return to this hotel, well...
