Vila Estera Therme Balotesti — Hotel in Balotești

We just stayed here for 3 nights. The location was great for the therme spa and airport. However, there was meant to be a receptionist there which we didn’t see once in our whole stay. When we arrived about 10 pm on the first night, there was a key left in our door to get in. There was around five blokes standing inside the gate telling us it was this way to our room, and actually lead us to their room which was very creepy. We were three girls and it made us feel really vulnerable and frightened. We only really stayed there for the evening to go to sleep but I did feel quite unsafe each night when I was there. I expected it to be basic, but we hadn’t realised it was a hostel when we booked and we thought it was more of an Airbnb, maybe our mistake, but I wouldn’t recommend if travelling on...

We had a few nights stay and were very satisfied with every aspect of the hotel. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable regarding places to visit in Bucharest. The hostel is very clean throughout, and our room was spacious with everything that we needed, it even had air condition (but not needed as its winter, however would be greatfull in summer time).The hotel is quiet, and close to the therme spa. Very nice Hostel I only spent 5 hours there in between two flights. It was very convenient and very close to the airport. I wasn't expecting that much comfort and facilities for such a price. I was arriving late night and they arranged my arrival perfectly by telephone.
