Mavie Apartament — Hotel in Bucharest

Since AirBnb doesn’t allow us to see the apartment’s location before booking we based our buying process on the AirBnb reviews of the apartment, which was a bad idea. We arrived by 10pm, turned right on the tobacco shop as described by the host and were met with a very dark alley, which looked scary and unsafe. The apartments were all the way in the back of said alley, besides abandoned shacks and an alcohol shop. We didn’t even enter the apartment, as it looked unsafe. We started searching for reviews in Google. Very bad reviews were posted, with exactly the same experience as ours. The ones who ended up staying the night said the neighbors were loud, the walls were thin and the toilet was dirty. Also, another comment said they clearly saw the host’s wife booking the apartment for a night and then leaving a 5 star review to boost up the apartment’s rating. We ended our stay after ALMOST a full night.

The location is extremely sketchy and unsafe. The advertised car parking is basically just a dirt patch at the end of a shady alley on which the housing is located. There is no entrance door/fence, you can enter the room directly from the alley/street. The doors are extremely squeaky and you can easily hear the neighbors using them at night. The shower was not clean at all and we had to keep our flip-flops just to be safe. The neighbors (from the same housing) were drinking until very late and were being extremely loud. You can hear absolutely everything your neighbors do/say. Our neighbors were calling prsttutes loudly on the phone and laughing until 5AM, when I was finally able to catch 2 hours of sleep until 7AM when the other neighbors started hanging out 20cm away from our door.

Am fost cazat o noapte la această locație ce arată bine doar din poze, nu reflectă deloc realitatea! În primul rând așa zisă cazare este poziționată între clădiri dezafectate de ai impresia că te afli în ghetou. Cum intri pe acest gang, se află garaje sau magazii ce își țin piețarii din zona imediat apropiată marfa! Aici se află aceste asa zis "apartamente" cel mai probabil foste garaje sau o clădire "modernizată" ori containere ! Ușă de la intrare este pusă de formă, mergea și o perdea! Am vrut sa dau drumul la AC , mai aveau puțin și ieșeau lilieci de acolo , vesela lasă de dorit de ex: 3 pahare diferite , o furculiță două linguri , un bol, o farfurie si cam atât! Dacă nu ești atent cu bateria de la chiuvetă ,riști sa rămâi cu ea în mână! Gazda își permite la ora două dimineata să dea mesaj soției să o roage să părăsim până in ora 11 cazarea și să îi lase o recenzie bună că așa îi poate oferi și el recenzie ca și client !
