As a recurring guests of Marriott Grand Hotel Olea is our usual logical choose for an early dinner since opening of the venue. The service and the quality of the food were deteriorating recently and our last week’s visit was a complete disaster. The restaurant was occupied less than 30% of the capacity. We needed to wait for each round of drinks for 40 mins and after reminding at least three times, food was served 1.5 hours and was not tasty at all. We left nervous and thirsty and disappointed. The table was situated under a tree and there was constant dust falling over the table. We had to ask to be moved. Overall good - the outdoor seating was nice although we had to switch chairs as the seating was too tight for my robust hips. We got the grilled halloumi salad to start which was very good. My husband got the Romania steak and asked for it medium rare. It was totally rare but good. I got the burger - no choice on cook and it was well done. Way too much mayo on it and the bacon was way overcooked too but overall it was ok....
