Basically anything.

  1. Mold in the shower. Didn’t say anything as I decided to read the reviews the same day. I was so tired from the travel, that I wanted to have a good time.
  2. Floor wasn’t deep cleaned even once! My socks went from white to black in 5 minutes walking around.
  3. Breakfast was the same two days in a row. Cucumbers were unfortunately dry, barely any choice in meat section. Basically no fruits. Coffee machine gave my husband a shock, so they have some issues with the power connection there.
  4. The mattress is TOO SOFT. Soft is good, after all not everyone likes to sleep on planks, but this isn’t a hotel grade material that caters to clients. I was confused. Bedding was fine and clean at least.
  5. Many things are left broken and are a hazard. I didn’t take a photo of all as mostly i rested, but with a kid i was seeing something new every time. Example: the bedside “tables” were barely hanging on a thread, the desk/table in front of the TV was broken, the lamps couldn’t be adjusted due to broken mechanism etc.
  6. Noise was too much in the hotel itself. You could hear people doing the deed on the top room. I guess sound proofing wasn’t done and is not a priority.
  7. Parking wasn’t a great thing - only two places to park and they usually are already taken.
  8. Reception staff isn’t bad, but isn’t great either. The man barely said hi, the lady was talking on the phone and laughed while there were guests next to her.
  9. Window was broken, didn’t close at all and had draft constantly. Seems like it is old PVC and hasn’t been replaced in a long time.
  10. The shower items were only shower gel and shampoo. Unfortunately no liners for pads, no changing of bins daily(as other hotels of such stars would do), no shower hats/caps, no other toiletry items provided. It felt like they were short and scraping by.
  11. Constantly in the morning a cleaning cart was left in the floor, but no cleaners were visible. Fairly loud music from the hallway was also bothering in the morning.

My POV is from a guest and a former hotel worker. Those things wouldn’t fly somewhere else.

Room looked nice, but the kids single bed wasn’t safe for a kid under 10 years old. There is a huge gap and I had to put the bed cover, so my kid doesn’t fall into it. Pillows weren’t kid friendly either.

Wouldn’t come back.

I hope management can fix the issues or be ready to eventually lose the...

I had an unpleasant experience during my last stay:|1. the handles of the kitchenette were coming off, and there was nothing in the minibar. At the same time, the shower cap was also missing.|2. The receptionist on 08.10.2024, in the morning, was downright rude. Breakfast was until 10.30, I had work in the morning and arrived around 10.40, so I asked him to discuss in the kitchen if we could still put 2-3 slices of tomatoes, cheese and some bread on a plate, in the place where breakfast was served, being the only one at that time. He told me that the schedule is strict, breakfast is served at 10.30, of course, I was aware of that, I showed him that this is exactly why I asked (politely) if a small exception could be made (I hadn't asked for cooked meals or complicated matters). After he came out, he conveyed to me that it is not possible in a dry tone, and I told him that if they wanted to, it was possible, but it is not desired, at which point he began to give me lessons to be on time, in a totally irreverent tone, that the cook is not obliged to serve me after the schedule, etc. I told him that I was aware that she was not obliged, that it was a gesture of minimal good faith, that I had stayed at other hotels and, if she wanted to, she could (after all, it was not much past 10.30). The problem is not necessarily that they didn't serve me after hours, even though I had taken a rather expensive room and paid for breakfast, but that the receptionist or whatever he was (because he didn't have the clothes of a receptionist) behaved deplorably, in the context of which I addressed politely. The idea was not for him to scold me, but, if they really did not want to show a minimum of kindness, to politely refuse. I do not recommend for this reason and will never...

We booked the "suite" with this hotel. It says in its room description that it's a luxurious room with 'spa bath', kitchen amenities to eventually make a small meal, and coffee maker. Well that is not true. There is only a water kettle, and one portion of instant coffee. The bath is just a regular bath, nothing spa about it at all. Also in finishes it's not to a high standard.

Even worse is the bed. It's basically a mattress on a crooked wooden board. Not recommended if you've had a long day of traveling.

To top it off the walls seem to be made out of cardboard. I've literally been able to hear the conversations in the room next to us. And the stairs in these rooms, which are metal, are heareable throughout the building if someone walks them.

When we complained to the staff the first response was that this was their only suite and most luxury room and that they never have complaints about it. When I wanted to cancel the rest of the stay I had to wait for the hotel manager to arrive. When she was there she still feels that the description of the room is good. Well I think differently and I urge anyone to not go here and find a better place for...

It is a very good little hotel, located on a quiet street, close to Piața Arsenalului in Bucharest. Nearby there are a grocery store and a pharmacy and one only needs to walk for a few minutes to find dental clinics, banks, currency exchange, etc. Bus stops are also close to this hotel. The Palace of Parliament and Izvor metro station are situated within walking distance(less than 2 km away). The hotel itself is clean and well maintained. My first booking here was in winter and my room was warm, nice and cozy. This was my second stay here and I am glad I chose it. My room : the bed - so comfortable and big and there were lots of pillows. There was a bottle of still water on the table and a selection of teas and also a mini fridge. The bathroom was also very clean, with good water pressure and high quality towels . The price of the room is very good . If I come back to Bucharest I will stay here again.
