Evo Residence Panoramic — Hotel in Cluj Metropolitan Area

The apartment is really new, it's quite extravagant with nice furniture. The living room has glass walls with views from above. Careful! There is no proper road leading to the house as it's in a new area. We arrived at night and went according to the navigation which took me to a very steep, chubby gravel road, where literally our SUV couldn't go up and then it even started to slide back on the stones. Luckily nothing happened. After we tried another way, where there was no steep part, but still gravel road from which the entrance to the garden was so high, that the bottom of the car just touched it and it was difficult to drive in. We would have been happy to get any information regarding this, as the owner only sent a photo of the parking spot, but said nothing about the road conditions. Although the apartment aims to be luxury, there were sockets which didn't have any electricity in them. The shower's glass wall was not long enough, therefore any time we took a shower, the whole bathroom was soaked. The view is nice, as you are high above, but you see a suburban area with some factories, not the real city. Finally we found some spider webs hanging from the ceiling, so a bit more cleaning could have happened before our arrival.

I had the wonderful opportunity to stay in Evo residence this week. It was unfortunately just only 1-night stay and we arrived at night, but oh wow... I'm reading now the comments about the road and yes - there are 2 ways to reach the house - one very steep and had a lot of potholes, the other one better, although not paved also, which is also OK, considering it is a new neighbourhood. It is also nice, that the owner of the residence has read the previous comments and we were told about the road before already. But all the horrors about the road (which will be fixed in the future, I'm sure), went away when we stepped into the house. It smelled so nice, already from the stairway :) and indoors! It is luxury, it is WONDERFUL! My kids said, it is the view from the Iron Man house ;) Thank you Evo Residence for giving the tourists such opportunity to enjoy the beautiful city-scape and luxury! If we ever happen to come back to Romania and Cluj-Napoca - we will surely...

Evo Residence looks great in the photos available on Booking, and I must admit that in reality everything agrees with the images presented. However, the access road to the facility is a serious problem that should be taken into account when planning a stay in this location.

Both Google Maps and TomTom guided us on a road that turned out to be impassable for standard cars. Access to the facility through the main gate is actually only available for off-road vehicles. If you are traveling in a vehicle with a low suspension, you may encounter problems with entering the Evo Residence car park. Why? Because the access is via a gravel road, which seems to be more suitable for vehicles with off-road tires.

If the owner of the property reads this review, I would have a humble suggestion: it would be worth organizing a guide or someone who could help direct guests to the property. This can help avoid misunderstandings and potential problems...
