Hotel Bulevard Mamaia — Hotel in Constanta Metropolitan Area

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, 02.09-04.09; It was not my choice, but my husband's - I usually sit for hours looking on booking.com for the perfect reservation, but he is more decided, on ini-mini-hands-mo principle. That does not mean it was a bad choice, it was a good fit for what we needed. ||Firstly, I needed something close, Constanta-Mamaia, in order to arrive from Bucharest as hurry as possible; I needed something 3-4 stars because we are quite demanding in terms of hotels. I made a reservation on booking.com a few hours before arrival; reception is non-stop but we were welcomed by a guard who woke the sleeping girl at reception. Perhaps she was so sleepy that she did not find the booking on server and she said that she does not have rooms; But after I showed the confirmation on my phone, she had found a room.||Room: Overall ok, although I do not think it deserves 4 stars. It was not enchanted by the atmosphere, probably due to coloring and paintings of dead nature - but I saw from the lobby other rooms that looked much better and brighter - probably a subjective thing. What i did not I like is that it overlooks a parking lot, gave me the feeling that i am in Bucharest among blocks - but after all, I was in Constanta. The bed large enough, mini-bar, and air conditioning but I think I have not used.||The bathroom: The bathroom door creaks, it is old and very loud; equipped with shower gel and soap. Hairdryer is in the closet, but it is very small and takes forever to dry your hair.||Breakfast: simple omelet / with ham, sausages, cheese, cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, biscuits, yogurt, cereals; coffee is very good. I was pleased enough by the breakfast, although it is basic, 4 stars could be more. There is a little balcony for smoking.||Parking: too small for big the hotel, we parked on the other side of the street as we did not find place (and we were not even in high season).||Wifi: it was ok for my needs - WhatsUp and facebook ..||Location: I would say Constanta - Mamaia, near Malibu hotel. It is a walk away from the first portion of the beach; Roads walk past a gas station in case you need supply for the beach. For me it was a good location.||Services: I can not say much, not really interacted with employees.||Atmosphere: I like old times, i think it used to be a very luxurious hotel and appreciated, but now it seems a little outdated. Like most old hotels, still works with some lack of interest of management. The restaurant is beautiful, with an air of old, with lots of wood .. it's a pity.||Outdoor Swimming pool: I did not spent time here, but I took a look and seemed ok if you do not want to go to the beach; I would prefer the beach anytime.||Conclusion: I could return here but i am not very convinced. Not bad, but not "wow". 50-50 .. In my opinion .. I would also search for other alternatives that offer more for...

Maximum 2 star hotel!

I’m back with another review. Today me and a friend stayed here for a night. We got there at 12 in the morning and the front desk said that there is no available rooms at that time that she would give me a call when they’r done! 5 hours later, nothing (she forgot). Fast forwoard to the hotel: The hotel looks very good inside, has an old finish wood feeling and looks good. The problems starts when you go on the hallways and the rooms. The hallways smells funny and old, dirty carpets on the hallways. We had 2 separate roooms: one with a single bed and one with two beds. Both rooms had refrigerators but none of them functional. The rooms looks antique and old like an old lady that puts too much make up :)) The button for the flush of the toilet to work you have to push it really good! The chairs in the rooms where dirty as in wear and tear. As in conclusion, if you travel alone and on a budget or you cannot fiind nothing elswhere at the same price, yes, it’s and good third alternative. If you travel with someone or familly i advise you to put a little extra on the money that you had reserved and go somewhere else! Ps: i didn’t even touch the shower, i was affraid….

forget about 4* you know from other hotels, this one is a special one 4*. i don't like the rooms, it looks old and not so clean , ironing in an office for everyone so you have to wait for in the morning, bathroom is basic equipped. the architecture of the room is strange, entrance door goes directly to bed and beyond is a tiny hall with a wardrobe and the fridge and next is the bathroom. deeply unpleasant. carpet was dirty. no balcony. the plus is the restaurant, it looks good and the food was ok. breakfast was cheap and limited to basic. every morning at 10 sharp all the food and beverages for breakfast vanished so be sure you're in time. another plus for staff, helpful and friendly. maybe i'll visit again only for lunch or dinner but I'll never stay in the...
