Big NO - don’t ruin your holiday, choose something else.||We decided that it is time for holiday and after many months without a break we decided to choose this hotel because it has a treatment center. We hoped to have some massages, thermal baths and other treatment procedures to relax and charge our batteries for another period but we found only disappointments.||The hotel is old, not only old looking but old with less to no investments for renewing or just things done because they had to in order to get the 3 stars classification (a 3 start hotel has to have a painting in the room – they had a cheap printed paper on a wall …). ||Even we tipped the maid to better clean our room we checked in with lot of water on the ground in the bathroom, lot of dust in the wardrobe, curtains falling from the ceiling, one window crashed on the outside part, dead cockroaches hidden under nightstands, 2 small sheets on a double bed … and the story could go on and on.||The treatment center, yet another surprise. The timeframes are just hilarious. A back massage should be 10 minutes but from the moment you enter undress and then dress again, and if someone is slower before you, you end up with 5-6 min massage? Oh, is not even a massage, is more like a light touching.||After we hardly resist our the first thermal bath from not throwing up we decided is better not to get there any longer cause we might get hepatitis. The idea of clean and healthy was destroyed.||We reported all these to the travel agency and hotel reception. The travel agent contacted the hotel management but we ended up in the same point. No other room was better. And the staff … oh my God, what an attitude. I just wonder how they’ve been hired. Both hotel staff and medical center staff were rude, using unappropriated language and had a very bad attitude. We were ok, we’ve seen enough in our life and we were young enough to ignore the ingratitude but for those of you who think to send your parents or retired relatives here to relax and recover please do not expose them at such a cruel treatment.||We discovered some good persons also but they cannot fight against the flow or they’ve just saying nothing to keep their jobs to feed their kids. We ended up shortening our stay there. We could not support all of the above and much more … on our expense.||We will never go back and we advise everyone not to repeat our experience. We advised our travel agent to never recommend that hotel ever because it is going to affect their travel...
Read morePseudohotel de 3, in care doar camera in care am fost cazati arata de 3, la care se adauga curatenia si amabilitatea personalului (insuficient de altfel si depasit de situatie de cele mai multe ori).
Camera are totusi un minus prin faptul ca se simtea zilnic, in mai multe randuri, miros de tigara care venea de pe hol, deci nu de la cineva care fuma pe balcon si asta desi fumatul este interzis in cladire. Apoi, calitatea hartiei igienice este una precara, mai ales pentru clasificarea de 3*! (trebuia sa rupi muulta ca sa nu te stergi cu degetele....)
Balconul, desi generos ca spatiu, nu este prevazut cu vreun scaun de plastic (macar) sau sfoara/ sarme pentru intins un prosop/ costum de baie (am cumparat noi cu 3,5 lei deci ar fi o investitie minima din partea hotelului daca s-ar vrea!)
De cum iesi din camera holul si casa scarii arata dezolant: avand iesiri la ambele capete ale holului, pe o parte se vede o incercare de renovare fiind zugravit si curat, insa pe cealalta....nici macar nu au sters plinta dupa ce-au dat o mana de var....oricum, pe jos troneaza sfantul mozaic de pe vremea lui comunismului, acolo n-a ajuns gresia sau mocheta....
Cel mai mare minus il acord serviciilor de masa/ restaurant pentru lipsa diversitatii la micul-dejun (si nu numai, dar in mod special la acesta): in 2 saptamani am avut doar ceai, nu tu un lapte, iaurt, ochi/ omleta, nicio leguma (si ma refer aici macar la jumatate de rosie/ 3 felii de castravete...Nimic!!). La celelalte mese au servit de mai multe ori aceiasi carnati picanti pentru care mai multe persoane au reclamat ca nu sunt potriviti tuturor spre servire, insa degeaba - i-am gasit in continuare in farfurie... La pranz am avut si desert insa diversitatea a lipsit si aici cu desavarsire: in 2 saptamani am avut aceleasi 3 deserturi prin rotatie: o felie de chec, aceeasi reteta pusa in tava de aragaz, tataiata sub forma de patrat si cu o umbra de caise pe deasupra si cate-un patratel de prajitura cu gem si aluat ras pe deasupra. La cina am avut de cateva ori carne nefacuta, care nu putea fi mestecata si in plus, aceasta era mereu compusa din 2 feluri de mancare: felul I carne simpla fara garnitura (si fara vreo salata sau mujdei, sa mearga.....(proteina cu paine ca sa se sature omul, nu??) urmata de felul II: tot carne, dar de data aceasta insotita de o garnitura. Servire defectuasa pe una din ture unde personalul era mai tanar (si neinstruit probabil), dar la 3* si banii dati pe bilet nu trebuia sa ma afecteze pe mine acest lucru!!! Servetele foarte subtiri (la fel ca hartia igienica) si insuficiente (gaseam unul singur pe masa, sub tacamuri si doar daca ceream ni se mai aduceu 1-2, cu portia.....nici vorba sa existe suport cu servetele pe masa ca sa te servesti daca ai nevoie). Programul de servire al meselor este inegal distribuit din punctul meu de vedere penteu ca seria I are la dispozitie 30', seria II are 20' si seria III doar 15', in conditiile in care prima serie gaseste mancarea pe masa si este timp suficient pentru a face mise-en-place-ul meselor. La seriile urmatoare au alocat timp mai scurt, asa ca de multe ori gaseai masa nepregatita sau ti se spunea sa ai grija sa te incadrezi in timp ca vine seria urmatoare si trebuie pregatite mesele. Desi in sala de mese exista aer conditionat si boxe/ tv acestea nu sunt folosite pentru oferirea unui ambient propice servirii mesei intr-o locatie conform clasificarii de 3* pe care o detine hotelul (racoare, muzica ambientala, pe fundal) decat la cerere...
In privinta parcarii, locurile sunt insuficiente si lipseste cu desavarsire locul rezervat persoanelor cu handicap!! Pe aceasta tema am avut o discutie aprinsa cu personalul si conducerea hotelului, dupa care am fost invitati sa servim masa in adevaratul restaurant al hotelului, care intr-adevar arata de 3* si unde se poate servi si a la carte.
Ar trebui sa-si actualizeze pozele si informatiile date catre agentii, sa se uite ce review-uri au pe site-urile de profil si sa ia masuri daca vor si alti turisti decat cei veniti prin Casa de Pensii...

No towels, no toilet paper, no soap or shampoo, no clean laudry. Speaking of the loundry, the sheets were old and torn. Surprisingly, the maid showed up at unusual times and, for a a good tip, she produces towels and toilet paper.||The food was awful and the waiters either not trained, or evil. They would not give you a second tissue, even if you asked for one. ||The receptionists were not polite, would not answer questions and, at the check out, they had us wainting in the lounge for more than half an hour to check the inventory of the room - which hasen't happened to us forthe last 20 years in other places.||More than that, a water "black out" occured one afternoon and lasted for at least ten hours. ||Well, we had to have a cure in the medical facilities of the hotel and this is why we didn't leave on the spot.||I highly recommend any one to avoid Eforie Nord and especially this Petrolul hotel.
