I have used this hotel on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. The owner and his staff are so helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean.Breakfast is included and although I only had coffee, juice and toast there were other options including cooked eggs. The hotel is in a very good position for getting around Hunedoara. I go to Hunedoara the first weekend in December, every year, with a team from a charity. On that weekend, the owners wife celebrates her birthday and she always includes us by giving us a piece of her birthday cake! This hotel is great...

Unfortunately it is right next to the most monstrous eyesore you will ever see - apparently a vast former Ceaucescu-era wedding hall which has been left to fall down. But the whole town hasn't been treated well by 20th century history, so you can't reproach the hotel for that.||The rooms swerved their purpose with bed, shower, TV. Build quality looks decidedly dodgy, though, and there isn't a lift to upper floors, which seems a bit odd for a modern hotel. Maybe I didn't look...
