Maris — Hotel in Limanu

The place is really one of a kind in Vama Veche - stylish, built with good taste and attention to details, with a lovely pool in the middle of the place. Decent breakfast in the morning, with a limited choice of warm meals (loved the fried eggs which had each one pepper corn on top of it, quite inventive and really nice) . Only one setback: no cereals for children, we had to buy them at the store nearby (and so did many other visitors).|In what regards the services, I think that things can be still improved in terms of making visitors feel welcome and desire to come back. Just one example: we arrived at noon, on a hot day and after greetings we were told by the owner (who was sitting at the pool bar of the location) that our room is not cleaned yet and...we should take a walk and come back in half an hour. Not that I would have expected him to offer us some fresh refreshments on the house (which would for sure happen in Greece or Turkey), however an invitation to have something to drink on our own costs by the pool while the room was prepared would have been much welcomed. |Also no card payment available.|Despite of the place to improve in services area (which is a fact in most of the resorts on the Romanian seashore), I would say that the location has a very good potential and would recommend it to everyone that still takes into consideration spending holidays on the...

Mid-July in a big group for 5 days. Common areas are spotless, beautiful lawn, with great attention to all the plants. Everything looks Mediterranean with a touch of luxurious finishing. The rooms are nicely furnished and clean. We were on the 1st floor above the breakfast area; our shower was the waterfall type, we had AC (which we didn't even need with 32°C outside), fridge/minibar, TV and 3 different, free WiFi networks - perfect. ||Staff was very friendly and attentive: upon our arrival we remarked that we were lacking some storage room and blackout curtains for our toddler's afternoon sleep - within hours all was brought in and installed - that's 5* for service alone!||It's clearly the nicest place in Vama Veche, the only one I would stay with a small family (5 min walk to the beach and noisier areas of Vama).||Fully recommended||NB: if you really need A/C ask if your room has it when making...

We stayed at Maris for 1 night but it was enough for us to experience the nice and comfortable stay that you can find at Vila Maris. The rooms are very nice decorated and the bed has a wonderful mattress. Even if they don't have an AC the rooms are cool enough to feel comfortable.||The only thing I can say it can be improved is maybe the attention of the cleaning personnel as I spotted a few spider webs in the room.||The breakfast is the high point as it is very diverse and it can satisfy all kinds of diets.
