Laguna — Hotel in Mangalia

Air Conditioning didn't work, bathroom has no shelf to put toiletries on, they barely provided a tiny soap each day. The bathtub leaked and there is no shower curtain. The tub is small and weird and all the water splashes all over the bathroom. No breakfast included. Coffee at the bar downstairs is a ripoff, they charge a different price each day, especially if you're a foreigner. ||THERE IS NO PARKING! You have to fight for a space in the public beach parking, good luck. There is NO PRIVATE BEACH - you get a couple of beach chairs for free in the middle of the crowd. ||DO NOT expect service or a smile from the older lady at the reception desk. The gentleman was better, and so was the young lady, but the old one won't even say hello, forget smiling. The only good thing about this experience was the cleaning lady, who did a thorough job, with a smile too. And the view was nice. other than that it was expensive and sub-par. Services on the Romanian sea side are horrible, very few places where you're treated decently. Most waiters treat you like you're bothering them by showing up, prices are through the roof and quality is zero. Spend your money...

Pros:||- situated right on the beach (new wing, sea view), 2 beach chairs included in the room price||- the beach is ideal for small children (water level around 70 cm max on childrens beach)||- the rooms were nice and clean||- staff members were nice and always smiling and willing to help||- the hotels restaurant (Breeze) offered quality food at reasonable prices. The only dish to avoid from my POV is Poseidon plate which offers you so little for the money youre paying. Otherwise, the restaurant personnel was friendly, always smiling and their recommendation were amazing||Cons:||- only a minibar type refrigerator in the room (and even this one was not working properly)||- the bathroom mirror was too high placed (So not useful unless youre very tall)||- no breakfast included||||Improvement proposal:||- it would be nice if a solution could be found to have a pool for small children for when the sea...

A friend helped us to find a room in this hotel because it was a last minute decision to spend a weekend at the seaside and everywhere it was fully booked.||We really had a nice surprise with this new hotel, great location near the beach, very clean, nice rooms, offering 2 beach chairs and 1 umbrella per room on the beach, all in a very affordable price ( around 60 euro/ double room).||They also offer vouchers for breakfast or lunch served in Luca restaurant, the best beach restaurant on the marina walk, very close to the hotel.||Great sea view from our room, equipped with all necessary facilities, good quality mattresses, bedding and towels.||Very helpful, friendly staff.||We really...
