Mosorel — Hotel in Moeciu de Jos

My room was no 3, with a hole in the balcony floor (wood), with clogged shower and cold-warm water and no TV. Too expensive for what you receive, the meal has only chees and milk from local sources, maybe eggs too. But the morning buffet was with salami and smoked meet from the market, almost expired (judging from the smell), the eggs (omelet and fried) appeared on the countertop after 30-40 mints from breakfast starting hour, the wedges were from Metro, frozen type and fried in lard. Almost no offer for veggies! Dinner during week time (m-th) has a very low offer (one soup and smoked meat with polenta) my kids barely eat and the price for 1 adult and 2 kids was 25 euros at that time - 28/10/2021 - a high price for a dinner in Romania. The "playground room" is an empty room only with tables and chairs and even so, the host locked it so the kids only played on the stairs - the dinner room was full of guest and was not proper to play there, outside was dark because they don't have lighting poles in the garden so, with no tv in the room the only place was the hallway and the stairs - so we were scolded for it! The outside playground is unsafe, with open jumper (without net), old wood toys and no lighting pole for the night. In the morning, when the kids missed their plate and they put some cereals on the table the host (him) shouted at them in a very rude way ("băăăăă, nu vezi ce faci??" it cannot be translated to reflect the rudeness) and that was the third time he addressed them that way.

We spent 4 days at Mosorel and we will definitely go back. We had room no. 8 with a stunning view of the mountains and valley. The host (the lady) was very kind to offer us this choice as 2 rooms were available at the check-in time; she host was very kind, always smiling and friendly, always around and happy to answer any questions or to help, if needed. We also met the 2 ladies from the kitchen which were very lovely and friendly, offering us info about different plants and their benefits.
