Me and my husband arived there at 04:00 AM as we were traveling to Bucharest and needed a place to rest and this was one of the first Google recommandations for Non Stop hotels. Upon arrival the doors were closed and we rang the displayed number quite a few times before the guy at the receptiom desk woke up and let us in. The first thing that we noticed upon entering was this pungent smell, like rotten/ moldy old carpet which prevailed in the entire building. The price for a double-bed room was 165 lei/night which wasn't that bad and the interior design was quite cute. The room itself was spacious and well heated, the bathroom was clean but I can't say the same thing for the blankets which were stained in various spots. Similar to the rest of the building, the room had this horrid smell also, even though upon entering you could smell the faint aroma of an airfreshner, which is why we slept with the windows open. We woke around 10:30 AM and were still in bed and we noticed someone trying to open the doors without knocking. Thankfully, we made sure these were closed prior to that. Than at 11:30 AM we got a call from the reception desk that we need to get out of the room as their checkout time is 11:00 AM. Given that we paid the price in full we were expenting the checkout to be the next day, even though we were planning to do so later in the evening since we planned to continue traveling. Once at the reception desk, a lady came to let us know that we should've checked out sooner as per the hotel policy. When we explained the situation, she offered a halfed assed sorry and said that she didn't know since the person who checked us in didn't leave her a note. Had she known, she would've let us stay for a couple of hours more. I don't think it was fair for us to be charged for a full night when we didn't even stay for 12h. Overall, the lack in communication and behaviour on their end coupled with the putrid smell made for quite a bad expecience, even if the price or room...

To top it all a free breakfast was included. The staff could not have been more helpful and they have a good...
