Sóbánya Panzio — Hotel in Praid

this pension had such nice ratings that I wanted to stay there. TripAdvisor indicated a room for 4 was available. I am traveling with another single woman, so that would've been perfect...but nobody was at the front desk, nobody answered the bell and nobody answered the phone. Finally a young girl at a nearby ice cream stand called the mgr who said rent us a room...but only one Queen bed was available.| Thus, there were two problems with the info on TripAdvisor: a 4 person room was supposed to be available, but it wasn't. Also, web indicates English is spoken. Not true. A nice place for family with kids. Big rooms with kids bed. Hospitable owners. Not very expensive. There is also a kitchen which can be used by clients. Only small remarks...in room 9 there is very low wifi signal (sometimes nothing) and instead of a lcd tv there is a very very small lcd monitor which is too bad for a nice and big room. But once again all the minuses can be ignored because...

For anyone walking the Via Transilvanica this is a wonderful choice. Located immediately on the trail, it’s also located close to restaurants and a decent market. The market is important because one of the best things about this place is the large, well equipped kitchen that is available to guests.
