Me and my partner stayed in the hotel in July, although it was just a few days I have to admit that it exceeded my expectations.||||Exterior and interior stunning, clean and pleasant for the eye if you don't mind the stuffed animals. Room and bathroom well equipped and very spacious with comfortable bed, the only thing it could be useful is the shower curtain. The room had a nice balcony with an absolutely fantastic view of the mountains, where we could enjoy a cup of coffee and cigarette.||||Location of the hotel is very good, although a taxi or a car would be useful unless you don't mind quite a lot of walking.||||Restaurant not very special, but made us feel very comfortable, more like sitting in the lovely garden and food was very very good (the chicken liver was fantastic! - highly recommend)||Buffet for breakfast with a perfectly chosen food, a bit of everything for everybody but not too much - delicious.||||The staff itself could make more effort to look a little bit happier, as everyone looked like they were forced to work there, except from one waiter (who's name I have forgotten to ask), blond hair, quite tall, average build (with little belly:)) and a very smiley face - he was the only person who made the service feel warm and always smiled when passed by. Not sure about the English though as communicated mainly in Romanian through my partner.||||Overall I will definitely come back, it is a beautiful, comfortable, quiet and...
Read moreAlthough the rooms are very big and clean, the staff pretty friendly, I hated the food so much. Even the soups were so bad, and i find it pretty difficult to mess that up in Romania. We rented 5 rooms for a family trip, and we ate at the hotel restaurant about 3 times. From the start i did not like the food. We had some soup and i alao ordered some lamb pastrami - such a dissapointement. The meat was burned, tasteless and so hard, i could not eat it. My husband ordered some fish at some point, again, awfully cooked. Third and last experience was with sausages: too salty and so hard to take a bite. Basically, we fed the dogs on the property most of our ordered food. One more aspect we did not like and that was one of the reasons we chose this hotel was the playroom: it was so dusty, the air there was so bad, there was no foam carpet on the ground, which would have helped the smaller children, it had a broken sofa, as well as broken lego type toys (one of which ended up cutting through the arm of my 3.6 years old nice).||Heating again was not their strongest point.||I liked that they accepted travel vouchers.||Breakfast was very good and there were a lot of choices to pick from. I would not go...
Read moreWe made a booking as a familly for 3 days and 2 nights. At first everything looked good, the rooms are pleasent. Outside there is a terrace and a beautifull view of the mountains. Things really took a turn after we ordered for the first time with the waiter looking at usnlike she did not know what we ordered. The food and drinks were verry shallow and did not have at all a pleasent taste being especially expensive for what they offer. Took a long time for our ordes but eventually arrived. After a mid breackfast, it happened again next night where we ordered some pasta and it took literally 45 minutes to arrive with the waitress bringing us some drinks before the food and also after, a campari after the 45 minute pasta and was ordered at the same time with the food, absolutely horendous. The people are trying and it's a beautifull location but this hotel does not deserve 4stars, rathet 2 and a half or maximum 3 for the worst food and...
