Perla — Hotel in Slănic-Moldova

I stayed there for one night with my family to enjoy the spa. The restaurant is awesome, really diverse and good quality/price ratio but the waiting time is a bit long. The staff there is amazing and polite, they go the extra mile for children, was impressed by that.|| The indoor swimming pool was great , the area around very well taken care of, and there was a staff member at all times nearby to see if everybody was ok.|| The breakfast they serve is complete, I am a bit picky when it comes to breakfasts but I have to say that their's is amazing, a large variety of pastries, jam, salads, fresh fruits, cut fruits, lots of cheeses , meets, eggs cooked 3 ways , and last but not least loads of bacon.I don't know how many tipes of milk they had, but I am sure a vegetarian or vegan would have also found a large variety of foods.|| The reception desk staff was brilliant, allowing us check in a few hours earlier having arrived a bit sooner than intended , and giving us a few extra hours for a late check-out also( We just couldn't take my nephew out of the pool).|| Overall as a family experience i highly recommend it, the only bad side is the long time waiting at the...

A four star hotel, actually a 3 plus one. Rooms are spacious with dark furniture, nice bathroom with free toiletries, bath robes and slippers for the pool. Coffee facilities in the room and welcome bottle of water. Pool is good sized with beds and towels and restaurant is big and with a nice view. Unfortunately everything seems to be in a bad shape, tired and many things should be replaced. One elevator was out of order and we had to use the stairs as the other one was busy all the time. Breakfast was decent but restocking was difficult or not at all. Vegetables were not cut and we had to take an entire red pepper for example and. No cookies, yoghurt or jam at 9 o'clock. Perla is a nice hotel, rooms are well furnished with all you need to go to the swimming pool. Facilities are great : pool ( salted water ), sauna and hammam. Well located you will access in a few minuts to the mineral sources for a nice walk. Beware of bears when the night comes. The restaurant is nice, a large choice of meals even romanian will enjoy you. The negatives points : rooms are overheated even with heat off, breakfast buffet has not so much choice for a 4 stars hotel but it will fill you for the day, eggs bacon and sausages were cold... and let s say due to covid situation your coffee and juices will be in gobelets.
