The good: The rooms are decent, clean. Lots of towels (you have to take towels from the room when you go to the swimming pools, they don't provide towels there), bathrobe. The beds are nice, comfortable. Our room had a small balcony, with a small table and two chairs. There's even a clothes rope, which I guess comes in handy during summertime when you come back from the lake, as you can hang your swimming suite(s) to dry. The room was warm, even too warm for our taste. Mini-bar in the room, with some beverages in it (spirits, wine, beer, water, soft drinks). The hotel was clean, and, in general, the staff and the guests wore masks. The swimming pools area was also clean, plenty of space at any time of the day. There is free WiFi (Guest WiFi - poor connection, didn't work, and Bradet Rooms, for which you have to ask at the reception desk for the connection password - this is OK, I could easily connect to it after getting the password). Breakfast and dinner were OK, plenty of food to choose from. The staff were polite and welcoming.||The bad: There was some rust on the heater from the bathroom. The hallway as you entered the room was very narrow, it was difficult for 2 people to pass by one another at the same time, especially if the bathroom door was opened. No towels provided in the swimming pool area, you have to bring a towel from the room (we did not know that, so I had to go back to the room to bring towels). The major downside to this is that you'll end up with wet towels that you cannot hang anywhere in your room to dry (there's only one small heater in the bathroom, which is not enough if you have 2-3 large towels to dry, plus the bathrobes, which will most likely be wet, or at least moist, when you come back from the swimming pools). Cleaning is not done on a daily basis, and neither are the towels changed. We had to call reception and ask for clean towels, as our were wet and unusable. The 2 elevators are very slow. Given that the hotel has 7 floors, plus reception, plus restaurant (used for lunch), plus conference room (used for breakfast and dinner), plus spa, combined with the multitude of guests, the waiting time for the elevators was almost infuriating at times. Not all the guests wore masks on the hallways and in the elevators, even if there are signs all over the hotel. The temperature in the room was way too high (around 26 degrees Celsius), and we did not manage to lower it from the wall-mounted thermostat, so we had to simply turn it off. The dishes, especially those served for dinner, were not very child friendly. I've seen many children struggling to find something to their liking. Only one 330 ml bottle of water per person is offered at dinner, so if you want more, you'll be charged for it. There were tiles missing or broken in the swimming pools area, and also some rust in some places. No complimentary tea/coffee in the room, which I find bizarre for a...
Read moreUn concediu ratat! LATER EDIT: Buna ziua, doamna Fulop!
Read moreVery expensive, at 250 euro a night. Not a single day without having problems with the keys(cards). The staff at reception is nice(also the rest), but they are too few and you have to wait a lot to actually talk to one. Breakfast is ok, but dinner is very bad, and you only get water(this for 250e/night). The hotel is old(a bit renovated), but dirty. The elevator is slow, old, dirty and rusty. The rooms are ok, but still not very clean, and far from 4 stars. The shower is a joke, half of the nozzles are clogged and the other half go each one in its own direction. The parking isn't free(even at 250/night) and you cant really find one close to the hotel unless you are lucky. The pools are ok, but dirty. There are too few chairs. The door that leads outside is old, rusty and dirty. The windows are dirty and have spiderwebs on them. The bar at the pool has very few things to sell(nothing special, you find everything at any store) at very high prices(3-4 times the price of a supermarket). It's not worth more than 100...
