A super cosy hotel, with an excellent spa and cuisine. We planned to spend here only 3 days, but prolonged it to a total of 6, as we were astonished by all the services. The hotel is at 5 minutes from the the main attraction of Sovata: the lake. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, also the beds are great. We had an apartment with a big terrace, with view on the pines in front of the hotel. You can park in front of the hotel. There is a parking lot across the street, where parking is free. Otherwise you need to pay for it. The spa is excellent. You have a big, 1.40 deep pool at a great temperature, where you can spend the whole day wot your kids, but there is a warmer small pool for younger children, and another salt water pool for adults. The saunas are one floor above, in a very quiet area, where you can also sunbath on a big terrace, and you can eat or drink anything you like. The spa gets never too crowdy, and therefore you can enjoy it for every moment. The cuisine is also great. In our opinion, is the best in Sovata. The personnel is very nice, and you cannot have requests, which they cannot fulfill. There are some points however, where improvement can still be done. In some of the days, rooms were only superficially cleaned, and the towels were not changed regularly. But these could be solved with asking the receptionist. Otherwise, everything was great, including prices, and we will come back for sure!

Probably the worst 4 stars hotel I’ve been to. The staff at the reception was very unfriendly and the interaction was simply weird when we arrived. They did not offer any information themselves and had to ask things like - where can we park, when is breakfast etc. When asking about the SPA schedule he informed us that we don’t have this services included with the room price if we book through Agoda or Booking - so please be aware of this. It’s the first place I go to where the access to the spa is not allowed for hotel guests. The parking doesn’t exist, you need to park your car in front of the hotel on somebody’s property (you can see in the image that there were not so many cars and the place was already full). The breakfast was very basic and is in my opinion not appropriate for a hotel with so many stars. The room was decent, had a balcony and it was clean. However, the details for a 4 stars hotels were missing - curtains very poor quality and in the morning the room was full of light; complementary chocolate was old to put it nicely. We paid 86€ with breakfast included and I think that’s a fair price but the listed price at the reception was over 210€ (this price is not justified). I would not go there again!

I have mixed feelings regarding this hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated, stocked with all necessary amenities, but I've had a few issues during my stay. 1. The card system on the door was faulty, we had to go to the reception 2 separate times (we stayed for 3 days) to call someone up to fix it, which took a while. 2. The A/C system was unreliable, it suddenly stopped out of nowhere and when it returned it made a loud wooshing noise. That being said, there are a lot of good things to be said about this hotel. The service was impeccable, everybody was very respectful and quick to aid us in any query we had. The pool is clean, nicely decorated, and the ambience music playing in the spa area is very relaxing. The saunas are also interesting, especially the one with salt from Praid. The robes are also very soft and feel like a cloud.

The room was small, without a hanger, just a tiny closet, no balcony, no makeup table with a mirror, a bathroom glass door that doesn't close hermetically, with a finger of space all around.... (Congratulations to the architect and designer who did a terrible job) When we arrived in the room, the small towels for the face and the one for the feet were missing... we had to ask from the reception... the same with the robes, …especially when there is a SPA & pool…. The cleaning was far below expectations... I found a "little souvenir" on the table next to the bed, because they don't have bedside tables, namely a beautiful "bouquet of cut nails"... Bleah, ... what a cleaning was done… I don't even want to think about it.... At the entrance, they don't have a ramp for luggage/trolleys, they don't have anyone to help you with your luggage... I wonder if people in wheelchairs are "allowed" in this hotel, because they don't have an access ramp for them either... At the restaurant, with except for the breakfast, which was good, but not brilliant and especially not "fabulous" as they self-assess, we ate only once and then avoided it. When you ask for beef soup with lovage from their menu and you receive a plate with horseradish juice, frozen vegetables in the soup and dried lovage from the envelope, in the area where you could very well turn to local producers.... what can you say?!?!?!?!||||Positive points: the blonde lady at the reception who tried to "wash away the sins" of the bad services and the lady with short hair from the SPA (the rest … they have sour faces and if you ask for something that you should have because you paid for that something, they talk in a bad way, in the hallway there was a a man and a woman from maintenance I think, who don't know what their job was but to grope and bruise themselves) . The boys who served breakfast were kind and jumpy, as well as the girls from...

We visited Fabesca early January 2022 and the location has potential but we were highly disappointed by the services. Rooms were not cleaned properly, stains on pillow and bathroom had "memories" of previous guests. In the shower cabin we even found packaging of cosmetics that have not been thrown away by cleaning team.||||The pool is not very large and around it there is a lot of water which is not cleaned, making the surface slippery. Kids are allowed to jump in the water and splash everyone around. Saunas are very small and one of them was not functional. ||||Food at the restaurant is average and we ordered a Rib Eye that was served cold. Breakfast was also average. If you wake up early you find a larger variety of food. If you come later, then they do not replenish the buffet.||||In regards to hygiene during Covid, I wish you good luck! Cause even though you sign a paper that you agree to wear masks in common areas, no one does that. Not even the personnel. Imagine how everyone is sneezing, not wearing a mask and touching everything with their hands at the breakfast buffet. The personnel act like everything was normal.||||One good thing: the massage. The gentleman there is a pro. But the price is very high: 300 lei per massage.||||All my complaints and suggestions for improvement with photos and proof have been presented to the manager. She apologised because this was due to the busy period they had before our arrival and we were offered a discount to compensate for the inconvenience: 80 lei. I believe that is not an unfortunate even but rather the standard of this hotel. Too bad. Not...
