Hotel Tolea — Hotel in Târgoviște

Not wat I expected from to find. I was surprised to see for a 4 stars hotel so many things that could be done much better. For sure.

I'll start by seying that most of the things we found them in our room, starting with the bathroom, where the toilet seat was broken, the shower csbin wad a few spots on the wall. In our bedroom, the bedshits had some spots on it, like they ware never changed or lefted from the previouse customers. Also, the breskfast could be much better then what we got. Totally better. With something much more fresh, authentic, romanian even and at a bigger scale. One othet thing it is the elivator that in my opinion it is really small and couldn't fit not even one persone with a big luggadge. What if two people will need to bring there luggages in there room at the 2nd or 3rd floor? They will not fut in that one for sure. The only good thing that we could say it's that the room was big, confortable, with a big bed. I feel soory for all this bad review but i wished to find some good things about it, more then this but as you sed, the review will help the future customers and of course, the staff, to improve the customer services and...

From the outside the hotel does not leave much to be expected. On the inside the hotel is more modern. Check-in went smoothly and we were given a nice room on the second floor, just below the restaurant. The room was a little worn for a four star hotel, but all was well and good. After about 15 minutes, the music started; an infernal noise of such volume and bass that it could be felt and heard through vibrations in the bed. Calling the front desk, we were told that they didn't know when the music would stop, but we could have another room on the first floor — as far away from the restaurant as possible. In the new room, the music was bearable. Until about 21.00 at which point the whole hotel was filled with low bass and high pitched singing. Sleep was therefore impossible until about 5.00 when it finally stopped. In the aftermath, the front desk clerk — who had the common dignity to be embarrassed — told us that the party had extended their booking late at night. The hotel had essentially sold the rest of their guests!

Do not stay with this hotel: no regard for their customers and the worst...

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during a stay in Targoviste. Location wise on a quiet backstreet a short walk away from the town Park and numerous shops and good locations. On arrival we were told we had to wait for a room which was fine as we were early but it did feel we were being a nuisance rather then trying to help us. However we left our bags and returned shortly later. This hotel has a lift and is spotless throughout with a nice food area downstairs. The room was spotless as well a nice size for European rooms with a very comfortable bed. Mini bar however did not get cold but that's about the only issue we had. Tourist manual in the room with all locations locally to visit and staff were helpful although not as friendly as other hotels. The room came with a nice size balcony and a really nice bathroom with walk in shower and everything you need. All in all a really nice hotel in a great location quiet enough away from main road but close to all you need I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay although it just needs a few extra touches to become perfect and coffee...
