N RESIDENCE HOTEL — Hotel in Timișoara

To start from the start...

When we contacted the hotel via booking, we asked if they had a parking, to which they answered "we have everything you need". The hotel has no parking, except public one across the street, and you have to pay for it.

When we arrived, and called on the interphone, there was no answer (it was noon). Later we managed to get in.

At the reception, there was an Indian guy (and I have no problem with that) who spoke decent english, and he was super nice, but for every little thing had to call some lady who was "at the other hotel", and she spoke almost no english. You can imagine the conversation between them, two thirds romanian, one third english. The lady said we only get breakfast, even though our reservation said half board, and tried to keep the price listed for half board on booking. We said no, we won't pay for something we don't get. Eventually we came to an agreement, about an hour later.

The room we booked said one double bed and one sofa bed, but we got one double bed (in good condition) and one single bed that had seen better days, both bed and matress.

The room was clean, the bathroom was clean, bed sheets and towels were clean. No complaints there.

The door to our room (and to other rooms as I could see) were rattling and not fitting well. Not a big problem, but still.

Breakfast was humble but decent.

All in all, not too bad,...

There was an accentuated smell of cleaning solution, probably from the sanitization procedure.

When we entered the room we had some flies and mosquitoes, however the flies disappeared after we let the windows opened and the mosquitoes let us sleep. Maybe they should add a mosquitoes net at the windows.

The double bed is in fact 2 single beds one to each other, let's not lie ourselves and say what you sell. Bellow the air conditioning there was some water inflitration by the brown stripes displayed on the wall.

The bathroom looks modern however instead of putting a bigger glass or a glass door to the shower cabin, they choosed to use a shower cover which can stick to you when showering, also is ruining all the wanna be modern bathroom. Toilet lid was unstable and easily disassembled.

Overall it could be a nice place but there is a missing attention to details or choosing the cheap version instead of...

Camera: aerul ok ușă de la intrare scârțâie și se zdruncina de fiecare data când deschide sau închide cineva de pe hol ușa, mocheta ok, tv ok, pat ok, saltea cea mai ieftina și incomoda, pernele penibile, nu era așternut pentru canapeaua extensibila, telecomanda tv nu mergea, telecomanda de la aer nu era. Baia: Ușa de la baie lovește pe cel care sta pe buda, nu se închide bine-trosnește, ventilator care huruie și trezește lumea și nu poate fi oprit, ușa se deschide spre paturi si daca te apuca nevoile noaptea, luminezi colegii de camera, nu exista un cuier in baie și nici covoraș, par pubian de la ceilalți oaspeți. Nu am putut sa dormim din cauza tantarilor - daca nu ai plase de tantari la geamuri, macar ofera aparat cu pastile, ceva...cei 6 păianjeni nu și-au făcut datoria, se pare. Parcare: nu are parcare, nici macar nu ai loc in fata hotelului sa opresti ca sa descarci bagajele. Scump și fără mic dejun. Personal ok, serviabil...
