Pensiunea Elisei — Hotel in Timișoara

Review from 2019: This is one of the worst hotels I ever saw. I paid the room without seeing it first (big mistake), then I saw three rooms, didn't like them and after that I received the money back. A few aspects from the rooms I saw: One of the bathrooms has a balcony door with clear glass, so everyone from the street could see inside the bathroom. Another room has a broken glass at the balcony door. The TVs do not seem to be functional. To avoid! The answer of the owner proves that I am not wrong, with such an attitude nothing will change at that place...

In cursul saptamanii trecute am facut o rezervare telefonica la Pensiunea Elisei in Timisoara. Am specificat ca avem doi copii dintre care unul va dormi cu noi in pat iar celalalt ar avea nevoie de patut, doamna a zis ca revine cu un telefon sa vorbeasca prima data cu seful. Sunand dupa 10 minute mi-a transmis ca este in regula si se rezolva. Ajungem la cazare, ce sa vezi? Nici un patut de copil disponibil. Dupa 20 de minute de “foiala”, scot din spatele receptiei un pat ruginit, care misca din toate incheieturile. Am zis sa ne gaseasca o camera tripla si vom dormi cumva o noapte cu amandoi in acelasi pat. Toate bune si frumoase, vorbim cu seful si zice ca se rezolva. A doua zi dimineata era vorba ca la prima ora va veni el ca sa rezolvam problema. Il asteptam pana la ora 9:15, dupa care plecam in oras. Il sunam tot noi, nu raspunde doar dupa doua ore zicand : “eu nu am timp sa vin sa vorbesc cu clientii, iesi afara cu toate lucrurile pana la ora 12 si lasa-ma in pace. Oricum am auzit ca ati cerut lapte la micul dejun, poti sa ma reclami si la Iohannis, iesi afara pana in ora 12”. Evident ca dupa un asemenea limbaj, comportament si o noapte in care am dormit intr-un pat de doua persoane cu amandoi copiii, ne-am luat lucrurile si am plecat. In ceea ce priveste micul dejun, am cerut ca laptele din termosul pus la dispozitie pe masa cu alimente, sa fie putin incalzit pentru a-l da la copii. O experienta mizerabila pe care sper sa nu o mai traiasca nimeni, noua...

Nothing extraordinary.

It was quiet, but the cell service in the rooms is basically non-existent.

The bathroom in my room was just badly designed... shower will flood the bathroom, and the toilet is right in the sight of the shower.

There are only 3 parking spots in the hotel but you can park on the street as long as you are not incompdating anyone.

30 minute walking distance from center or the river.
