Hotel Boutique Casa del Sole — Hotel in Timișoara

To begin with: great delicious food! Not the first time I order or eat here, the food was delish every time. Now let me tell you a story you don't hear so often in Timisoara's restaurants:

I called ahead to order a Melanzane Parmigiana to go. The lady I've spoken with said it will be ready to take in 15-20min. When we arrived at the location, 15min later, we were told the order was ready in an additional 15mins. I kindly told the waiter my order was supposed to be ready by now. Surprisingly, he apologized and asked me about my situation: is a cab waiting for me, am I alone or with my kids/husband in order to see what can be done. I replied there's no urgent situation, but we (I was accompanied) didn't make a detour to some place we could have if we knew we had time to because we wanted to arrive in time for our order. So he asked if it's ok for us to wait and offered drinks/soda/juice/coffee for both of us on the house. My mate asked for a soda (I didn't want anything). Honestly, this never happened to me before in Timisoara's restaurants (ofc, I'm not talking about messing up with some orders - haha - we're all humans and we make mistakes, but the attitude towards customers). In the end, I wanted to pay for the soda because it's the attitude that can make your day better or worse, but they wouldn't take it. They kindly smiled and greeted us on our way out.

Will definitely return and recommend this place to friends! Keep up...

stopped for a few days in, friendly staff, understaffed waiting on staff. as they just come out from winter, the pool is a mess and they were working on the restaurant, pretty careful not to disturb the residents. We have paid for 3 breakfasts for 3 people as we wanted a good day start, canceled after the first morning as it was full of oil and fats, we could only enjoy the cereals. a month later, we did not receive the refund, still. - so paying in cash is recommended AFTER and never BEFORE. Owner has 3 dogs, while chatting outside in one of the evenings suddenly appeared and bite my leg for no reason. lucky the dogs are little, and they did not bite my 5-year-old daughter. when investigating further, the dogs were vaccinated, but the staff and receptionist weren't surprised that dogs has bitten. I can make the assumption here, is not the first time.

restrooms quite small and shower broken, as well as light fittings near fellling down on the wall on stairs.

I gave overall 2 stars, only because we slept well over there. it deserves 0 stars as they treated the guest, no manager came to apologize for the dog bitten or to discuss the matter, or offer assistance, or such, and no refund for breakfasts we...

DO NOT STAY HERE - 0/5 stars

I booked this hotel over a month ago and was looking forward to staying here and experiencing the facilities (gym/spa/pool)

Unfortunately I never got to stay there as on the day of check in the hotel contacted me via WhatsApp and told me due to a technical issue my booking was cancelled. They had moved me to a sister hotel around the corner which was cheaper in price and had no facilities (sh1th0l3). When I explained this was unacceptable and I wanted my booking honoured or a refund they sent me this message;

“ Your original reservation was made under a non-refundable policy, which means we are unable to offer a full refund. However, please rest assured that the alternative hotel was carefully selected, and it provides good standards of cleanliness and comfort. Many other guests have stayed there and have had a positive experience.”

Since then I have tried to call and text them to no avail. They sent me invoice for the amount I paid for this hotel not Excelsior. Absolute disgraceful...
