Hotel Excelsior — Hotel in Timișoara

I'stayed here for two nights. Not bad, but the hotel is stated as four star hotel. I' ve seen more three star hotels with better services. Aircondition is cetral. To make it functional I had to turn a setting for temperature out of range and then switch it off 😀 - see recomended functional settings on photo. The safe on room looks like a joke. It was fixed on place by adhesive tape 😬 . The hotel is lost in the middle of houses even if it is 15 minutes walking only to the citycentre. What is really good here is a breakfast. Not expensive and better than other much more bigger hotels here (like continental north star, timisoara hotel) 😋. As the price was not expensive it was worth...

We spent three days/two nights in this hotel. I made a reservation via the hotel web site without problem. We had a warm welcome, and ladies on the reception desk were very kind during our stay. Room ("king room" for one bed for two persons) was spacious and pretty clean. The same applies for bathroom (bring your own shampoo :), the only unpleasant thing was some odor from the bathroom.|The breakfast was very good, I don't know what I could ask more.|There is spacious parking with surveillance in the front and the back of the hotel.|The location in also good, the city center is easily accessible by foot. |All in all, I will choose this hotel again If I come to...

The hotel has private parking and the location is good, 15min walk to the center of the city. The rooms are bigger than usual and clean. Breakfast has a lot of options, grilled veggies, fruits, varieties of eggs, coffee, juice... The only downside (it's a big downside) is that the cleaning lady tried to enter the room at 7am for cleaning, it's ridiculously early. The key was left in the key lock so she could not open it, but she kept trying for several minutes until she woke us. Overall I recommend this hotel, but I probably would never pick it...
