Yellow — Hotel in Timișoara

The room was clean and spacious. The owner of the pension was nice and helpful. The breakfast was basic but the variety was better than what you'd get in similar hotels in the West.||||Hotel's website says it is situated 10 mins from the city centre. What it doesn't say is that it is a 10 minutes drive, not walk. However, taxis can be found at any time just a few metres from the hotel and it costs little over 8 RON (about 2 Euros) to get to the city centre. ||||The hotel is in a quiet residential area; however there were dogs barking at night in neighbours' houses nearby which was a bit annoying. I suppose we could shut the window and turn the aircon on. :-)||||I subtract one point from the 5 for the unclear information on the location of the hotel on the website. If we knew we couldn't walk to the centre, we wouldn't have booked it. ||||If you are OK with the location, I highly recommend Yellow...

We stayed two nights in this small and cozy place, a bit outside of the city center. We like to stay a bit further from the center to get a different feeling from cities, more "local". |There a small shops (mini market, fruit shops) 2 minutes from the hotel and also a tram stop. A tram ride costs 2RON and with tram number 7 your can get straight to Piata Maria, so it is really easy to get to the center. ||The room and the bathroom were really clean, the staff really nice and helpful. |Great place, would definitely...
