We found this place by accident and booked the room without knowing it would turn out to be the ideal place for me and my wife. The location is in a more remote part of Viseu which means it is quiet, the pension has a lovely design (both inside and outside), and the people who run the pension are all wonderful. Everyone there greets you, asks about your day or your needs. I have some dietary restrictions which the owner accommodated with ease and no judgement and they were flexible throughout our stay and through all our last minute, unforeseen needs. Romanian||English||Horor.....Am platit 1600€ pentru un Craciun traditional 2 adulti si un copil 4 nopti,si am avut parte de mese cu preparate de la market.Cand am spus gazdei ca nu am venit in Maramures sa mancam produse de la Lidl,aceasta a reprosat ca sunt de la Metro.....nu de la Lidl.Au taiat porc dar ni sau oferit doar jumeri...nu pomana porcului cum ar fi trebuit.In fine masa de Craciun ,care ar fi trebuit sa fie imbelsugata si cu de toate ,a fost de fapt o masa modesta cu sarmale fara gust cu un orez rece la mijloc......semn ca au fost reincalzite,fara carnati si alte preparate ce ar fi trebuit sa fie pe masa.Gazda a solicitat plata in avans,si la solicitarea mea ca vreau sa plec si ca asa ceva nu se face,a spus simplu ca nu am decat sa scriu o recenzie negativa.Pacat de locatie ca este foarte curat si personalul amabil.EVITATI ACEASTA locatie bucataria HOROR.||||.NU RECOMAND .||Horror.....I paid €1600 for a traditional Christmas for 2 adults and a child for 4 nights, and we had meals with food from the market. When I told the host that we didn't come to Maramures to eat products from Lidl , this objected that they were from Metro.....not from Lidl. They cut pork but only offered us jumeri...not alms for the pig as it should have been. Finally the Christmas meal, which should have be enriched and with everything, it was actually a modest meal with tasteless sausages with a cold rice in the middle... a sign that they were reheated, without sausages and other dishes that should have been on the table. The host requested payment in advance, and upon my request that I want to leave and that such a thing is not done, he simply said that I only have to write a negative review. It's a shame about the location because it is very clean and the staff are kind. AVOID THIS location the kitchen of HORRORS.||||.I DO...
