I have stayed at parkinn (which is adjacent to the Sheremeteyevo airport) several times for short durations. The hotel is clean, safe, staff is courteous and helpful, breakfast is ok (not too great) and the rooms are generally small with minimal interiors. But thats how parkinn use to be at most of the places. I would recommend it for short stays (up to 2 days). It is not advisable for longer stays as they seems to have cut corners in almost every possible ways. The hotel is pretty far from the Moscow city center. There is good metro connectivity to the city. There is a shuttle available every 30 minutes from the hotel to the airport. When the weather is good (not very cold/ raining), I prefer to walk down to the airport or vice a versa. But generally its better to take the shuttle. Typically most of the rooms have an LED TV, mini fridge, coffee maker etc. The bad part I've noticed is that the room service dont bother to even replenish the toiletries unless specifically asked for. There are no safes available in the room. The...
Read more“Very good”?! Are you people out of your mind? It’s like saying that red roof inn owned by indians is very nice.. I’ll start from beginning, as soon as you walk in to a hallway you can see a dirty carpeting, the room door opens and dirty carpet continues , outdated tiles in the bathroom and mold, tiny tiny tv on the wall, mediocre bed and...ohhh towels, my gosh, I never seen more dirtiest towel in my life!!! The only one thing is good about this hotel is that girls on reception is very nice and friendly. Otherwise the walls in the room are paper thin, so you can here the running water faucet or when someone putting the plug in to electric outlet, every conversation, every move and if you are lucky to have chinese group on the floor be sure they will be yelling of the top of their lungs at least until midnight. So before you book a room at this hotel do your self a favor and check Radisson blue just across the street, believe me $30-40 more will do you a...
Read moreThe hotel is within walking distance of the airport but the shuttle bus is more convenient. I booked this hotel for my wife who had a long layover at Sheremetevo on her way to Abu Dhabi and Kuala Lumpur. She gave me glowing reports about the fantastic choice of foods available at the restaurant there. She was delighted beyond her wildest imagination with regard to the variety and quality of the dishes offered. Larisa flew in from Vladivostok. She was especially delighted with the room in every way! She raved about the amenities. And this became especially important when she invited a friend of hers who lives in Moscow, whom she hadn’t seen in many many years; they met in the room and talked for hours. Larisa told me that the hotel and her room were immaculate. If there was anything negative about the hotel that she didn’t tell me, I’m not aware of it. I have no doubt whatsoever that she would recommend this hotel to...
