ibis Красноярск Центр — Hotel in Krasnoyarsk

Came here for a month-long stay. Overall, it's not terrible, but there are many issues. Some positives: the staff is attentive, the location is probably the best you can get, and the bed was nice and comfy. Now, the negatives. Firstly, I stayed in a "premium" room, yet it was smaller than most regular hotel rooms, and with the most basic design. The minibar is empty, which is a shame. Amenities are lacking - no gym, no entertainment. But the worst thing by far was the shower. It is almost impossible to set it to the desired temperature, and even if you succeed, in a few short seconds the water will suddenly become either freezing or borderline boiling. You can set it to the hottest setting and the water will be cold or vice versa, it's like playing the lottery. I've stayed in over a hundred hotels, and never experienced a shower this terrible, be it 1 star or 5. Each morning of the 34 days I stayed here was a pain, it didn't work normally even once. And from what I heard, it's a problem other guests had to endure as well. In the end, there are definitely better choices here in Krasnoyarsk.

Edit: shortly after leaving this review, the staff came to fix my shower and also brought me some beer and snacks as a compliment. Have to say, didn't expect such...

Had an amazing stay. Extremely helpful and nice staff, helped with any questions we had about the city. Modern and trendy rooms with beautiful bathrooms, also very clean rooms.||We were able to drop our luggage at the hotel early in the morning and had a little stroll right in the centre. There are good bars and restaurants a few steps from the hotel. Moreover, I had found the real russian cuisine in Tipichnaya Pelmennaya where I ordered 2 portions of varenykies. So we got a beatiful room and the location is not noisy at night. Highly...
