Mobark Plaza Hotel — Hotel in Makkah Al Mukarramah

Where do i start with this place, if i could i would rate it no stars, I don't understand how this hotel has a 4 star rating, it is absolutely disgusting, a bathroom which isn't even a proper bathroom with a broken toilet which had to be fixed continuously as it would not flush. A room with beds that are about to break, one actually broke as one of my family members had sat down on it and had to get staff to change two of the beds one that was going to evetually break. Staff are smoking in the corridor knowing there are kids around, after warning them they continue to smoke. Room service does not even exist in this hotel, they do not change the beddings they do not clean the room, they ask us to put the bin outside the room for them to clean it. Also there are hardly any sockets to charge phones or etc. One behind the bed which we had to get staff to show us and one which is mainly for the tv but to use it we had to take out the tv's plug. In another room of ours we luckily had an extra socket near the entance but the socket was actually sickening as u can see in one of the images below. AC was just about working after having it fixed by one of the electricians on the first day we had arrived. I really do not understand how this place is even a hotel, its a junkyard🤮🤮 Would seriously NOT recommend this place to anyone. And to add to it, its a good 15 minute walk from the hotel to the Haram Sharif and with some of the gates that close due to the work going on its an extra 10 minutes, so families with young children think before u...

The first day room was not ready we had to wait 2 hours . When we enter the room only bed was made, bathroom was not clean all use soap shampoo and garbage was left in the bathroom, carpet was not vacuumed. The bath area is so so so so so small that you can barely stand in that confined area. There is no such thing as housekeeping service you have to ask them to service your room. In 13 days only once they give us the bed sheet, we our self changed it, 3 times only wc just d wc was cleaned. and 2ice vacuum was done. Carpets r soo dirty can't define. (wooow what a service)The WiFi works not good, you have to login every 5 to10 minutes and 3 days WiFi was not available. The people at the reception don't even understand English. I have complained reception more then 10 time about a.c. Ac was not cooling enough they came to fix after 1long day. But, if you're here just to keep your belongings and just for sleeping on a bed, then its ok. There's an Android smart TV in almost every room. The tv has WiFi but the TV itself is really slow and wifi don't work.There aren't any channels in any other languages than Arabic. They have mini fridge which is not clean.They only give one socket for you use, so an extension cable is recommended. There's a sitting area on every floor, so you can socialize. The washrooms are so so so small. The bath area is so small that you can barely stand in that confined area. There is no such thing as housekeeping or room service. The WiFi works no good, you have to login every 10 minutes. The people at the reception don't know anything related to WiFi, they don't even understand English. But, if you're here just to keep your belongings and just for sleeping on a bed, there won't be any cheaper place this close to the mosque. The AC is actually very very good, the beds are comfy. There's just one little problem with the bedding, the pillows are really thick and not as much fluffy as they seem. There's an Android smart TV in almost every room.
