Upon arrival, I was shocked to discover that my booking had been canceled without my consent or prior notification. When I approached the reception for assistance, I was met with unprofessional and unhelpful behavior.

The receptionist refused to provide me with another room, citing “system issues” and insisted I book directly through the hotel instead of the platform I had used. This behavior felt coercive and unfair, leaving me in a difficult situation despite having a confirmed reservation.

This experience has caused me significant inconvenience and reflects poorly on the hotel’s customer service. I believe such practices are unacceptable and detrimental to the reputation of both the hotel and the booking platform.

I feel so sad, it will be the most disappointed experience I even had and also in the future. The reception speak poor English, and really bad attitude to us ( I am not sure if they are racist as we are Chinese). When I politely ask if we can let the room more distance, the reception just said: No, it’s impossible for you! When we first time checked out, we found that we lost a jellycat in our room. Then reception answered the toy was taken by cleaner to home. How can a hotel just take customers’ things without permission and only in 2days? During our second times living at the hotel, someone get in our room without permission and no one knows, then steal our Harry Winston bag and the box. Luckily we didn’t put the diamond necklace on the box, but we put a Van Cleef & Arpels necklace in the box. When we find it was stolen, we messaged to hotel reception.
