Arriving a bit late (driving from Madinah) for checking with my wife and two young kids i was literally chocked when the person at the reception refused to check us in. Justification was that i did not include my two kids (3 and 4 yo) to my booking knowing the room capacity wasn't exceeded and that absolutely no hotel is checking young kids. So I was left with the best service you can expect as a client: a phone number to call at 8pm with two young kids running around the reception after a drive of 4 hrs...what a shame...anyways I decided to call the hotel hotline and fortunately I ended up with a very raisonnable person who solved my issue in 10 minutes. Read moreI booked the room for my guests and we did not get the same room what we booked. They had shown different room on the website with details varying by far. At the reception we were told that we would be upgraded and were asked to wait for 45 minutes. So, I took my guests home as I live nearby and came back in the evening to find out that the our guests cannot enjoy the upgrade as the limit of upgrades for the day has been reached. Apart from that later on I found out that my guests did not even get the room which I showed them on the booking website. It was inferior than the one which I had booked for them, leaving me embarrassed in front of the guests. I don't know if it is the website or the hotel who are misleading people.
