Sunday Millennia Hotel - فندق صنداي ميلينيا — Hotel in Municipality of Olaya

The truth is this hotel is far from boutique. Complaints all listen to in one ear and go out the other. The fixtures and fittings although may not be that old have dated seriously and have not been maintained. To imagine it has four stars on the wall from the Saudi tourism commission is a tragedy. I will be writing to inform them of the deterioration of the facilities. Although the location at one time would have been sought after due to the Metro and the constant roadworks on Olaya, no longer warrants the cost of staying there based upon service and quality of the above. There have been many complaints on here in the form of reviews and yet none of those issues have been addressed so I experienced them all from dirty bed linen to the disgusting this repair of the bathrooms in the room which is of a good size. It is sad to see that basic maintenance cannot be carried out even after you have shown them what to do. Indeed it is not the customers job to do so I have pictures of black mould in the shower which I had to have removed by pointing it out with pictures. A basic working shower which would give you your morning invigoration is part and parcel of any stay in any hotel. It is sad to say that although the manager whom I had dealings with had many years experience which he bragged of E was unable to have staff attend to these basics. The cherry on the cake was having them try to make us check out before our allocated time of 1 PM by contacting us to check out at 11!! Honestly one of the worst experiences I've been through My flight arrived late to Riyadh and I reached the hotel around 1:30 AM There was no reception representative and I wait for him around 10 mins till he show up!!

After he did the check in, he asked me to pay 400 SAR although the night fees was already paid And when I asked him why you are asking for an additional 400 SAR and he replied this is hotel policy and in my reservation confirmation there was nothing mentioned regarding deposit or blocking any amount

Room was not very clean and furniture is a bit old. The breakfast buffet is very poor and I went at 9:30 and all kind of dishes was empty even milk for cereal wasn't available and I asked for it

I request the chef to make egg Benedict and he did using old bread and it was very obvious.

During my check out the phone was ringing and the receptionist easily hold the speaker and drop it down immediately to ignore the call and by mistake while dropping down the speaker button was touched and the call kept active and it was a guest so this happened in front of me so I can expect the same to happen with me

I don't recommend this hotel at all and it was a big mistake...

I booked an executive suite for my recent stay. The room was very large; however, was not clean. The toilet had urine all over it. I had to take a picture to show to reception. This was disgusting. The TV in the room is large but does not work. The shower is in the corner of the bedroom in a small jacuzzi box that looks totally out of place. I tried their mixed grill for dinner, the chicken cream soup was ok, the mixed grill was very hard and cannot be eaten, let alone the humus that does not taste good either. I tried the breakfast as well, it was buffet style. Every thing on the buffet was so scarce as we are in a famine. I asked the service person to get me orange juice and he pointed me to flavored sugar drinks which I passed. I asked him for a tea and he pointed to a corner to make my own, To sum it up, poor service, poor food and poor service and unhygienic room.
