Bar.B.Q Tonight - Riyadh — Restaurant in Riyadh Region

An Aftar party at Bar.B.Q Tonight was a very good experience. There I really enjoyed Pakistani style BBQ and other dishes. A big number of people including families were there for Aftaar but must say that they all were accomodated very nicely; keeping in view the Saudi way i-e bachelors at the ground floor and familis at the first floor. Along with open area, a big number of family cabins were also there thus giving you a choice to sit as per your desire. The cabins were given numbers and a list of names of people who got the cabins booked was available with the staff at the entrance. You tell the name of the host and they will guide you to the cabin. Great.

Coming over to the food quality, availability and service, all were remarkable. Only in the family section there were around 200 to 250 guests but not even a single dish remained empty. In no time all empty dishes were replaced by hot filled dishes which is really a great task. What surprised me the most is the fact that even after Aftar when people were almost tired of eating, the dishes remained full. Hats-off to the organiser / manager.

Food quality and selection of dishes to be included for Dinner was very good. Those familiar with Pakistani dishes would support my words. Same stands valid for sweet dishes. BBQ items and specially Chicken Haleem tasted the best. Regarding Fish Tikka I would say that it needed a little improvement and should have been a little dry. But this is my personal opinion and others may not agree to this.

Buffett cost (SRs. 60/- per head) as compared to the variety and qualty of food is also very reasonable and in no way can be termed as expensive.

Like most other restaurants, Parking here too is a problem. Here I would suggest that the hotel administration should have an announcement facility so that if someones car (like mine) is blocked by others then atleast an announcement can be made to move the car.

As I was in the family sectiom, I avoided to take pictures and post here. Next time when I will go there after Ramadan, will share some. Overall my experience with BBQ Tonight was very good and in no way it was less than Marhaba Resturant (in Computer market); In terms of food quality. KEEP UP...

There were many options to choose from, including grilled meats, biryani, kababs, and other traditional Pakistani dishes. The food was freshly prepared and replenished throughout my meal, ensuring that everything was delicious and hot.

Despite the busy and bustling atmosphere of the restaurant, the service was impeccable. The staff were always on hand to assist with any queries or requests, and they worked tirelessly to ensure that guests had an enjoyable experience.

One thing that stood out to me was the quality of the food. Even though the buffet system offers a wide variety of dishes, the food remained consistently fresh and flavorful. The grilled meats were cooked to perfection, and the traditional Pakistani dishes were rich in flavor and fragrant spices.

I visited this restaurant on 30 July 2025;

Food: overall taste of buffet food is good Pishawri kabab, and fried fish are V.good. Sweet items are mostly commercial, a traditional sweet like kheer or sheerkhorma should be added. . Number of salad sausages should be increased. . Atleast one item of Mutton (karahi or Handi) should be available.

Atmosphere; it was really pathetic, the old tables, worn out chairs, and above all No cooling of AC. It was really getting terrible. People those who wants to have big gatherings and parties over here, must think twice.

Parking; it is a huge issue. Infront of restaurant only 8 to 10 cars parking is available. Rest you have to find the parking for your car. At last, adjacent streets are the only option for parking.

Service; service is just average. Only three guys were there to clean the tables for our more than 62 person's party. No manager, no incharge, came to us for the feedback or for asking about the arrangements. Even when tissue on one of the tables was finished, one of the guests himself went to call the staff and asked for the tissue box. No cuttlery were present on the table, guests have to go to a corner where complete cuttlery was set. Plastic plates must be replaced with marble plates. Mosque area needs more attention. New prayer mates and better setting of only fan and electric wires...
