After winning hearts in Jubail, this much-awaited gem is now here, offering a dining experience like no other! Taste India Restaurant has finally arrived in Riyadh, bringing an explosion of authentic flavors, rich spices, and the legendary Chettinad cuisine that food enthusiasts have been craving.

The moment you step in, you’re welcomed by an elegant fine-dining ambiance, tastefully decorated to reflect the warmth and richness of Indian culture. Whether you’re here for a lavish family dinner, a casual outing, or a business meal, this place sets the perfect mood. And yes, no parking woes—ample space awaits you!

The menu at Taste India Restaurant is an absolute celebration of flavors. Every dish is crafted to perfection, ensuring an experience that tantalizes your taste buds and leaves you craving for more.

🔥 Star Dishes You Can’t Miss: ✅ Mutton Chukka – A fiery, melt-in-the-mouth delicacy bursting with rich Chettinad spices. ✅ Mutton Biryani – Fragrant, flavorful, and simply one of the best biryanis in Riyadh! ✅ Chettinad Chicken Masala – A bold, spicy, and perfectly balanced dish that will take your palate on a journey to Tamil Nadu. ✅ Parotta with Chicken Gravy – A fabulous childhood memory of having an authentic and flavorful Chaalna right from hometown.

And for those who love Indian street food, get ready to experience the best chaat in Saudi Arabia! The Masala Poori is a rare treasure, and finding it in Riyadh is nothing short of a delight. Crispy, tangy, spicy—every bite is a flavor bomb!

And, Don't miss soul-soothing, aromatic tea that leaves you refreshed and satisfied.

On the downside, the service needs some attention (though it is understandably just opened). Everyone in the restaurant are very much customer friendly but a delay, even it is small, feels big!

In summary, whether you’re craving bold Chettinad flavors, a biryani that melts in your mouth, or the best chaat in town, or best fine dining experience, Taste India Restaurant is THE place to be in Riyadh. A feast fit for you, family, friends and colleagues. Kids loved the food, all of them.

I visited for Iftar and opted for the mutton biryani combo and the ambience was good, creating a pleasant and comfortable dining experience.

This combo included a small bowl of Nonbu kanji, compressed dates, a samosa, a cup of juice, raita, gravy, and two slices each of apple and orange. I added a masala vada with additional cost.

The Nonbu kanji was a pleasant; it had a more masala flavor than the traditional version, which I enjoyed. However, the bowl size was unusually small compared to what I've seen at other South Indian restaurants.

The juice tasted like Rooh Afza, and I found it more akin to a tonic than a refreshing beverage.

Both the vada and samosa were satisfactory, meeting expectations.

The mutton biryani was visually appealing and flavorful. The masala reminded me of Dindigul Thalappakatti biryani, though I suspect they used a different rice variety than jeeraga samba, as it lacked the characteristic aroma. The mutton was tender and well-cooked. For the price, the combo was a good value. However, the gravy pairing wasn't ideal; I would have preferred dalcha with the biryani.

The raita was good.

The staff generally appeared kind and approachable except one person, could benefit from refining his customer service approach. His body language and tone came across as less welcoming, which might unintentionally create a negative impression for some customers. With time and experience, I'm confident the staff will further enhance their customer...

I should definitely say This place is a worth it place.

Around many restaurants we visited we personally felt a different connection when we reached out Taste of India.

We were actually there to plan up an ifthar event and I must say from the very first day we met till the event took place every single point of us was taken to consideration.

What fascinated me was that there were completely organised and is always having there ears open towards the customer’s expectations.

I can’t even stop praising them… We even spoke to the chef where he gave us his opinion too in ordering few items which was more thoughtful..

And finally on the event day, Each and every detailing was upto the standard, Literally the food was heavenly The mutton kanji was definitely a hit over… I can’t even get over, not only me but even the guest had the same feel.. along with that there comes there Hyderabad dum Biriyani.

I would say nothing can give a better satisfaction than a good serving of food.

All of the guest enjoyed there meal And to the final touch we had a milk chai which was a food to our soul too.

It’s a worth it try to host any event or even individual meal.

Way to go...

I visited Taste India again, hoping to try Kizhi Parota, which I had ordered in March. Although it wasn’t on the menu, they made it before. However, the waiter insisted it was never available and even argued that I must have visited a different restaurant. Only after I showed a picture, no answer from him. When I tried ordering other dishes like Kottu, I was told only egg was available—no boneless chicken, mutton, or beef. Hence they cannot prepare Kottu ~surprising for a weekend. I settled for dosas. While the chutneys were good, they served only one initially and brought the rest when we were nearly done eating. The Mysore Masala Dosa was disappointing, with no masala—just chili paste. The overall service and food quality fell short. I hope the restaurant improves.
